Hi @seyitaylor, I’d like to be added to the tech group.

@seyitaylor Can I request to be added too? Or is this a female only party?

Yo @estherclimate I didn’t know there was an Abuja Techie club. We should do something around digital security within the next 2 weeks or so. Interested?

Male cheer leaders allowed, maybe? We can’t guarantee someone not pretending to be a woman.

Hi everyone. I stumbled upon Radar today, and somehow, I’m here. I run the Google Developer Group (GDG) in OAU. There is also a Women Techmakers group too in OAU which I organize. Women Techmakers is Google’s global program to increase visibility of women in tech. It works like a sub of the GDG. We’ve seen tremendous growth in the participation of ladies in tech in Ife as a result of this program.

There are quite a number of Women Techmakers group in Nigeria, but their activities are most likely restricted to the regions in which the GDGs are located.

I’ll like to join the tech-women group, and help out in any way I can.

By the way, @betkom, I was at your last Tech Divas event at Andela.

Just found out about TechCabal and the first post I saw was this. Heading off to the link to the group provided. Yes Nigeria really needs its tech women to come together and grow together. My female friends in Kenya and Uganda enjoy quite a lot of support and information from this kind of group initiative.

And please make the meetings global from the onset. I’m based in Abuja, but some weeks I’m all over the place. Not being limited by location would be a great additive, in my opinion. Thank you
Edit: @estherclimate I had no idea about your group. Please can you share meeting times and criteria for joining? Thanks!

Hello, I’d love to be added to the group, please.
