that’s not a bad idea.
That’s okay,
But one doesn’t have to learn and become a ninja to be ranked on the first or second page on Google
My point is that, let the Google.com.ng or Google.ng focus more on bring our local contents first.
Try this, change your IP to Germany and search through Google, you’ll get German content’s at the top before others.
Hotels.ng office is always open at weekends for any event. Justin is a growth hacker!
In many cases, I think this is happening already if you know how to optimize your site for local search.
You can still improve your local ranking if you integrate your site with Google My Business or other webmaster console.
As promised, here are my thoughts on How To Run A Data-driven Startup On Zero Budget.
This is quite useful if:
- You are a founder bootstrapping your startup or
- You are Marketer who works with a startup on low budget
Nice read
@spokentwice
I personally love Mixpanel for app analytics, use it extensively and it has so many awesome functions I haven’t even explored.
The book “Web Analytics 2.0” by Avinash also helped me a great deal. Was the very first book on web analytics I read and it was a good launchpad. There’s still so much more to learn…
I will take you up on the offer. Thank you
Government Taking interest in the social cause is highly appreciated. Peoples like us highly motivated by these kind of deeds .
GOOD NEWS:
Thanks to @Freshboi_Ekundayo and others, we are now close to having an event for growth marketers this year.
The details of the event is still sketchy right now, but I will be happy to know what you want the event to be about, for you.
What do you want the event to be about, so we can make it worthwhile for you?
P.S: The event is FREE (not sure if there will be small chops - but we are planning of getting sponsors
P.S.S: It will hold on a saturday in December and @mark is hosting us as HotelsNG’s office. ![]()
P.S.S.S: Please share what you want to learn and ideas of how to make the event helpful and practical to the growth of your startup
Hopefully we will get a reminder closer to time. Since no specific date yet.
Great to be here. Big ups to @spokentwice and everyone else championing this. I’m looking forward to seeing how it pans out. Just curious; will it be themed around a meet-up setting or workshop?
There will be announcement on Radar.
This current structure is themed as networking./keynote.
Concept is still being fine tuned, but we are open to your feedbacks.if we know what you want.
Okay, I checked similar “meetups” and found it’s mostly themed around a particular topic. eg. “Growth hacking on a slim budget”, “Product development and growth marketing”, etc. That way, there’s direction and attendees know what to expect. I’m happy to share some of my best practices from leading growth in two startups.
Hello Henry,
As this is a pioneer event, its best we introduce people into the planned regular event by Panels and Keynotes but the idea in the long run is to have Workshops structured as Masterclasses or Beginner Level depending on Agenda and Logistics where we delve on direct tactics to grow business we also are thinking of building a mentor database so we can effectively match Growth Mentors and mentees together in an immersive experience.
We are always open to ideas to make the event go smoothly.
Good stuff.
UPDATE.
…We are planning towards a big announcement next week.
Before then, here are some highlights.
-
Clear your schedules for early December. We picked December so you can learn what strategies will help you win in the coming year.
-
It is no fluff BS meeting. We expect all panelists to share from their hearts. No theory. … all practical approach event.
-
Courtesy of some friends, there will be light refreshment
-
As @Freshboi_Ekundayo noted, we are open to ideas that will make the event successful.
Please reach out if you do growth in your startup and are interested in moderating a panel session.
(There are other announcements that will come with the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT)
Thanks to everyone in the community.
This is really nice. Growth marketing is very essential in any startup. Luckily I had the opportunity to be exposed to data/Web analytics which have clearly helped me know more about the home & furniture industry in Nigeria as I plan to launch PAKO.NG - Nigeria’s #1 destination for everything home.
Knowing more about your target audience is key to unlock their desire to shop more on your platform which makes growth marketing very necessary . One tool I will advise any early startup to utilize is www.cyfe.com - As a digital marketer, growth marketer and any interested techy open to measure their ads campaign, web analytics , fbk ads and more in one dashboard. Did i mention it is almost FREE. I would like to moderate in the panel session @spokentwice.
Thanks @ubahbenson pls check your PM
Thanks for recommending Cyfe. I checked it out and it is cool. I signed up immediately. For bootstrapping startups, it will be a perfect complement to these set of FREE tools.
