That’s just so demeaning to my ears, can’t wish you luck either.

Lol oh well

Who has this demeaned? Sex like transportation would happen whether someone built an app or not. If we could make it safer and fun-er, isn’t that worth exploring?

Such naïveté.

Last I heard prostitution/sales of sexual goods are still illegal. :walking:

Well not to me, you want to enhance prostitution. I think of lives when I read that not just the short lived pleasure. Marketplace? It is demeaning to my ears, my opinion.

Lol the Oyedepos are here :grinning:

I don’t know where you got prostitution ninu gbogbo n ta so yii. But to each his own, if prostitution is what you see here, keep moving.

Anytime a Tech person starts thinking of building an app to enhace the Sex trade, thats a visible sign that the person in question has hit bottom lows.

Notwithstanding the fact that:

  1. As someone with sisters, I find this highly offensive as with all ladies viewing this thread.
  2. You will get arrested for This - guaranteed
  3. You have no idea the amount of Human trafficking going on in the Sex World and your “app” will mostly likely be used to further this.

Which leads us to guaranteed conclusion that a life behind bars is your portion. I do hope so.

Is it shit like this below that you want me to be responding to on a daily basis? Where do I start from? Bros, I just cant handle…I am going back to Mars as my fellow Nigerians never cease to amuse me…

Now, Uncle Brother of many Sisters, what makes you think that your holy sisters will find this offensive? If you are not comfortable with your sexuality, does that give you the right to determine what your holy sisters can do or not do their bodies? Is it not better to give girls aspiring to be Mia Khalifa or Alexis Texas (or Guys aspiring to be James Deen) a safe and regulated platform to conduct their trade? Platforms like this puts traffickers out of business because one bad review on the website will shut them out.

And in case you did not know, the exchange of sexual activities for financial gain is very legal in Nigeria. It is certain related activities that is Illegal. Worst case scenario, the company can be setup in Hong Kong and all the servers and data is kept over there.

So Bros, have a wank, smoke some weed and chill out. Life is not to be taken too seriously…

SpaceX Falcon 9 has exploded and Uber can’t get you to Mars so you are stuck with your fellow Nigerians. I heard Mars is too cold, how did you survive the last time you were there? :expressionless:

@hienyimba

You saw this at the start of this thread

But the Nigerian in you just couldn’t resist, the push or is it pull was too strong, you then went ad hominem on me. You are not worth the energy it will take to properly reply you.

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it. Aristotle

Your education is clearly lacking.

It bothers little on your personality to advise a stranger on a forum like this to

Prostitution is not Legal in Nigeria and your dad did not make it so. I do not hope you might be so unfortunate to have a family member Trafficked but Mr. Prostitution, a single review cannot stop a trafficker who makes millions from the business. And what checks are in place to determine a trafficked Sex worker from one that isn’t?

As I said earlier, God help your family members.

P:S - If you are too young to make a simple research, Sections 223, 224, and 225 of the Nigerian Criminal Code LFN, 2004 will suffice. Don’t get me started on the Penal Code.

If there were no morals in society, Life will be nasty, brutish and short. Heck, you will probably have been the product of rape. So your plea on dropping morals is baseless.

However, I won’t call what I did moralizing but If you don’t consider Human Sex Trafficking wrong, then your case is beyond help. Pls take this in good faith. A life behind bars is clearly not worth it.

P.S: There you will actually be raped and will have no need for morals.

There are hundreds of topics on Radar where your obvious sagacity would have been welcome but you had to pick the one where you would constitute a nuisance.

Your objections, tangential as they are is noted. An idea around consensual sex between adults, translated into prostitution, rape and sex trafficking for you, I don’t know what life experiences you’re drawing from but you should probably seek counseling.

Thank you for your time and opinion, they’re not needed here, open a new thread if you feel so strongly about it. There are no prizes for replying on this thread, so don’t bother or I’ll start flagging you.

Dude, there are loads of angles to human trafficking. People are not only trafficked for sex and in fact most cases people are actually traffick to work on farms, factories and restaurant thanks to sites like Pornhub and Tinder that makes sex an accessible commodity.

You need to do your research as you clearly have no idea of the domain. Sex/Prostitution is very legal in Nigeria and I have added screenshot of the sections you quoted. Can you point directly to the section that clearly states that Prostitution is Illegal?

Oh by the way, wanking and smoking weed is also very legal in Nigeria too!

I would have said you should get a dictionary but you wrote this yourself, it’s cowardly you cant even own up. Buying and selling sex is prostitution.

Oh, my bad! I did not see that

You and that rape fellow up there suffer from the same problem, you would not look for data concerning a problem to fashioning out a solution but would rather follow your emotions and moral tendencies, I am not an advocate of pre or extra marital sex, but guess what Sherlock? It is happening, the recession would only make it worse.

The number one value-add of the idea (Read the first post) is safety and I’m sure you are the kind that hear of a woman dying in an hotel room where she went for a tryst and say “Serves her right” or of a teenager dying from complications from abortion and be like “Yea, why she sef open leg?”. I am not a moral judge and I do not intend to be. Meaningful conversations around social problems is the first step in fashioning an effective solution.

If you have nothing to add to the conversation that adds value, bugger off.

@lawwyy @hienyimba What Part of this caveat Y’ll dont understand?

Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & Snapchat all provides an avenue for people to hook-up [‘Buy’ & ‘Sell’ sex] does 'It goes down in the DM’ ring a bell?

Why do we play Judge and Jury when it comes to the conversation of sex? Maybe you guys [moral police and religious marshals] should ask google the number of times Nigerians google the word ‘Sex’ then y’ll can take a chill pill with cold pure water.

A simple search on Twitter will convince you that people already indulge in hook-ups, calling @Seguleh1st idea prostitution is simply trying to tag bingo a bad dog! What is wrong in someone regulating hook-ups by providing a platform that guarantees Privacy & Safety?

This is a free speech platform so make your point without asking for jail time or wishing anyone ‘no’ luck in their venture, lets keep our high horse in their stables and not bring them to a free speech platform.

If some of the posts are too immoral or ungodly for you, please go start a religious version of this kind of platform for moral & religious discussions, more like Radar for the Saints, comprende?
