Just throwing it out there. What are you thoughts about a Radar Meetup?
It will centred around sharing ideas and networking with web/app developers, designers, tech bloggers, entrepreneurs…sort of like a loose TED event held once a year.
Free or paid event, corporate sponsorship, location…just a few variables to play with.
Sounds like a good idea! It might be better TC led but definitely will be a good avenue of growing the community of Radarians. Maybe the ‘codeoff’ could even happen after all now that Ozombo is back…
If this will happen, then some persons would need protection from several other persons. People like @xolubi, @onyeka, @sugabelly sure need protection from the founders and developers of seemingly ugly and useless unicorn-wannabe startups or applications. We don’t want agberos harassing @iaboyeji. @ozombo will also need to hide his identity from most Radarians.
Sigh, I don’t know, just ensure refreshments are served in plastic materials; No bottles and toothpicks. There must be multiple exits (please announce this every 30 minutes).
I should probably not shave my beards till January. I want to be seen as a rockstar coder.
Wait due who are you? What makes you think I would want to come to a radar meetup? And unicorn-wannabe startups or applications? Be honest with yourself dude. Prayerbox is cool at least not from my own point of view. The press says it all. The vatican radio, republica.it(italy’s biggest magazine), pulseng, techcabal, geektime, howwemadeitinafrica, cityfm, cnn, bbc, cnbc, RCCG, DAYSTAR, WINNERS, KICC, EVEN C&S CHURCHES and the POPE?. It’s only human to hate success. So bro I am sure I am too busy to show up at an event filled with people like you. And harassing @iaboyeji? Mehn dude your hate is on steroids. But I don’t worry about it cos if you aint getting haters then you doing something wrong. And you can hate tho, I’m on my way to the bank LMAO. Be sure to watch my talk at the web summit in Dublin. Those are the type of events I pay attention to. @lordbanks pls don’t see this as a jab at RADAR. Its about certain people. And by the way dude I’m sure I’ve been getting press ever before you started coding. YOU CAN’T TELL ME NOTHING! PEACE!
@ozombo; I see this as a sense of humor. If you don’t laugh at jokes, you probably laugh at opinions.
This response is really the attitude that keeps a family apart, it should be “we love each other”, and not “f*ck it”, man.
If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping our mouth shut.
I’m simply saying we can have a better approach to responding to comments and not making a fuss of things.
The ridiculousness of the service and the ego of the founder is just an astonishing combination. That Prayerbox is getting any media recognition says a lot about our tech scene than the startup. It’s like Yo! getting press mentions for a joke it is.
Interesting people to follow have zero prayers yet the almighty founder is here talking how his company is getting mentioned by the Pope, and how super amazing he is at coding. Nor be only Pope, na Jesus Christ!
Dude will come now, and tell us how he was one time Babcock’s best programmer. I know super programmers from Babcock and that statement is making Babcock look bad. Like do you know how many persons were one time best at something here? Or really very smart at what they do. Mathematics Olympiad finalist at 13, 2nd best in Lagos at 15. Dude will just come here and throw his accomplishment as if he is on Linda Ikeji. Most people here, are good at whatever they do.
So @ozombo you should get your head out of your ass. I believe you are a big boy, act like one already and stop being pedestrian. You are going to Dublin so should we jump off the bridge because of that?
One more thing, that you come here to brag about these things goes to show you really don’t have smart people as friends to humble you. Apparently, you are the best in your pack. And then says a lot about you still, that you can’t attract smart fellas as friends.
If you have friends in ivy leagues that have actually worked on really major projects(look up www.thinknum.com for instance, check the ‘about’) or other interesting things, you’ll perhaps be so humbled to really realise no one has time to hate on you or a Prayerbox service!
Is @Ozombo really serious or just kidding with those comments? I mean if you wouldn’t want to attend a Radar meetup cos you think you’re bigger than it, why are you still on Radar?
Clap for yourself bro. Guess you know nothing about location based suggestions. My head loves being in my ass. And oh! Ask those Babcock programmers about Bambo. And also ask if any other Babcock programmer made the media for creating a social site as far back as 2008. Or which one of them gets invited to give speeches at software exhibitions. Well my Intercom dashboard and google analytics tell me something else so good luck following people with public profiles who want their prayers public. You should do your research and stop talking shit. And Yo was a joke that made PRESS? I bet the YO guy can afford you! And you wouldn’t hesitate to work for him. The funny thing is anything good or bad that makes PRESS has made a mark. Come back when you build a product that gets this much attention. Sometimes y’all make me seem like I am bragging well thank God I am a different person on Radar and in real life I am a different person. And I mentioned dublin so you know that you people saying I shouldn’t be at a Radar meetup doesn’t bother me bro! I am sure you would love to be on Forbes or get featured on a magazine founded in the 1880s And your username is testing shitout? EPIC!
Below is a screenshot of some of the numbers. And about Dublin, that was a response to the dude saying coming to a Radar meetup had anything to do with @ozombo you must all think I care about your opinions. There is a song by game featuring lil wayne about f ur f - You got that?
