So I have got this really great idea for an app, it’s really a app like no other. I would have disclosed more details on here but for Intellectual property infringement issues, just take it that it’s unique and can really sell in our African market and beyond.
Lmaooo! Rude.
Sorry oh, but it looks like you’re the one who’s not being serious here.
Helpful tip: any developer with 3+ (or even less) years of experience has heard the line several times before: “I have this idea for a killer app”. So don’t expect them to treat yours different.
lool. Baba whatever app it is, It isn’t even solving any problem. Worst part u said serious people only. Like the devs in here came to run sudo apt-get update.
As a representative of the Serious Peoples Association of Nigeria (SPAN), I, on behalf of the rest of us, will politely decline this offer and pass it on to the Procastinators.
Killer app idea??? Join the queue
Taught you gonna brief it here
Lol. My-o-My
Normally I would read and pass but this; “…put snapchat and instagram out of business in Africa”.
I just epic. You deserve an award my brov.
As a part-time member of the Nigerian Occasional Procrastinators Enterprise (NOPE), I, on behalf of the rest of us, will politely decline this offer and pass it on to the “Freelancers-in-Exchange-for-Exposure”
This one weak me
As the Head & Chairman of the “Freelancers in Exchange for Exposure Group” (FEEG), I, on behalf of the rest of us, admire your generosity, However, we’ll be declining your generous offer ( this one time ), maybe the boys at Otigba street can handle this.
Guys let’s educate each other instead of tearing each other down, His idea might be great, at least to him, let’s encourage him but also tell him that having the best app is not the only reason Facebook and Whatapps is popular, Thier is something call marketing and always a $ attached to it. Don’t build an app that will put your competition out of business, build an app that can compete, the market is big enough.
As the Chairman of the “Techpreneurs in Exchange for Exposure Group” (TEEG), I, on behalf of the rest of us, admire the generosity of the Head & Chairman of the “Freelancers in Exchange for Exposure Group” (FEEG), However, we’ll be declining this offer, We have transferred it to the boys at Alimosho maybe they can handle this.
Sorry if I didn’t use the right termserious , but it sells a different idea… There’s no app out there doing it at the moment
No bro, we aren’t saying his idea is terrible, IMO, he should’ve just PM’ed someone the idea?? or posted it here instead of using this line “Serious folks should reply”. Besides we’ve heard this thousands of times “I have an idea for an app that put Snapchat and Instagram out of business”, “I have an idea for an app that put Uber out of business”, “I have an idea for an app that put LinkedIn out of business”
I apologize for that line *serious people only *
Let’s say when Instagram came they came with the idea of sharing multimedia and using filters , snapchat was more privacy concerned and brought about ephemeral sharing, so people don’t get worried about what they share, yovo(though not quite popular in our society) brought about D-fence, because snapchat has One Flaw message sent could be screenshot .
All am saying is that all this great idea would have sounded dumb at one point in time but with the right Designers, Developers and team this idea turned into a billion dollar company . My idea might seem lame but with the right set up people we might have another Zuckerberg from Nigeria
I think Snapchat is aware of this
because Snapchat has One Flaw, messages sent could be screenshot
That’s why users get notified when you take a screenshot of their messages or your name turns green in their “seen snaps list” when you take a screenshot of their story.
I don’t think Snapchat was meant to be a secure messaging platform, though messages are encrypted. so the screenshot thing isn’t a flaw per se. Besides, App Devs can prevent screenshots from being taken while their app is open (most bank/finance apps do this), but what’s stopping me from using another phone’s camera to take a picture?
What a thread, what a topic!
