Hey guys,
We all have stock photo problems.
The usual not-authentic-enough, or too-expensive struggle. We’re tired of searching for ‘black’ on Google, or Unsplash, or everywhere else.
We have great photographers but we don’t have our own get-photos-quick place, so we thought it would be great make one.
And so, Snapaya happened.
The vetting process lets only high-res photos through. Did I mention its completely free-to-use?
Please check it out, review, suggest how it can be made better. And of course, tell everyone.
Thank you very much.
@TheFuad Great job! Will definitely be utilizing your collection for future projects.
I think you should include a paid section as well so as to encourage people to upload pics where you can add the ability for them to tag some pictures as free and/or paid.
Your points are pretty solid @jogunjobi.
For now, we just want to focus on getting as many photographers posting photos. The only incentive available at the moment is that the photos are hyperlinked with their contact/portfolio links.
Aha! @aufuray likes it! The photos are tagged with as many keywords as possible. So any photo with Danfo buses, even if its not the main subject of the photo, will be tagged ‘danfo’.
Solid premise. Naturally, some of us have tried to crack it (foto.ng), but it’s not that simple in execution. This is a brilliant and efficient MVP. But eventually, there are going to be questions around ownership and incentives…
