The ynaija 100 most innovative person in tech (http://ynaija.com/ytech100-ynaija-presents-the-class-of-2016-the-definitive-list/).
Terribly written article. No pictures, barely any details or links. Poor formatting. Just completely half-assed. Looks like it was just done for hits and ego-stroking.
Easy…
It’s an interesting read, though, with all its flaws. Gives an insight into Nigeria’s tech ecosystem.
They just needed to get to 100.
Well, its a Ynaija list. They are entitled to present any person as they deem fit for the title of innovation.
Whether they can do better or not, is question for their editors. Not impressed either!
Just because you name is not there don’t mean is bad Are they supposed to start with pics? Maybe links would have been good. But I dont think i could remember 100tech people easily. I think it’s great cos it summarizes the tech industry in 100names.
Pretty sure anyone can complain about the presentation of a vanity list whether their name is on it or not, and being confident that their name not being on it is a reason for their disapproval isn’t a sound argument.
That said, a list of 100 names would be tough to peruse with pictures anyway. The article obviously assumes everyone is aware of the recent social media week event where the people mentioned were honored and as such dropped a list of random names without putting any context whatsoever. That, is bad editorial form.
You people will root for any and all forms of mediocrity. Good luck with that. Also I knew someone was going to say something like this, so congrats on also being predictable.
You know, you don’t have to be so bitter sometimes. Try it… It works
+1 on that. If these are the “Nigerian Innovators”, then I am sure someone can put together how many patents that they have between them. Let’s hope for at least 5. If its less than 5, then the list is sh*t and should be flushed down the shalanga!
Last time I had a conversation with my secondary school mates and asked them to give me some respect for my patents, they told me my patents were useless until I bought me a PJ off it.
My efforts in telling them about Tesla was a waste of time.
