Would you accept this (seemingly) good job?

Hello dear radarians, I’ll go straight to the point with my question.

Would you accept an e-commerce development job as a web developer, using any PHP framework (preferably Laravel) for between N80,000 and N100,000. To be completed within a month?

It depends on the requirement of the intended project.

If pay is too small, re-negotiate.

Take first 100k pay in cash, others can be staggered and collected via Stipends

I believe the requirements would just be the same e-commerce requirements.

CRUD for:

  • Categories of Products/Items
  • Products/Items
  • Orders Processing
  • Integration of Payment API
  • Security …

Would YOU do it for N80,000 maximum?

No, i wouldnt, my developers charge from 200,000 above so like i said its all about your portfolio, your willingness to do so and if it wont consume your time.

Approach project by.

  1. Features and Time to build: Can you deliver in 4 weeks or less

  2. Portfolio: Great to showcase for future jobs?

  3. Willingness: Are you willing to lose on this project

Some times we lose, some times we cash out it sha is based on you but i wont take 80l, die hard die hard we settle at 150.

pretty straightforward, would do for a minumum of 120k, you can shoot me an email mikeyeucresta@gmail.com

That part ^^^^ got me LOL. Nway, On point 1; I’ve never done a project of such before in such space of time, on point 2; Agreed. It would raise a person’s portfolio. Point 3; I believe you’re talking about losing (i.e wasted time), if deadline isn’t met and a refund is required.

Okay, we’ll see how it goes.

No i mean, allowing the client have his way for the fee that is not up to standard, starting out u can agree for a certain fee but when you begin to get more jobs you standardize and have a price list you wont back down for nor offer discounts for( Save Partnerships)

Oookay. Gorrit.

Look, for this kind of thing, no features - no dice. What if you agree, get paid, and they say you must do an ecommerce website like Jumia/Konga, what will you now do?
And you might probably have signed one silly agreement you did not even read.

I have a friend who personally built one alone, and I definitely know it didn’t take him forever nor drums of sweat to achieve.

Moreover, those points I listed I think are just the main functionalities, help me if you know more.

Yes. He Is.
