Hello Radarians.
I’m about launching a product of mine, and we 're setting out to bring marketers on board.
But, as it is, we are looking at having our marketers work on a commission basis.
Well, we 're not planning to have it based on commission completely though.
This is how we intend to run it: The service is supposed to run on commission. We are to collect 15% of every transaction carried out on our system. But, for the first 2 -3 months, we want to forfeit the commission.
The marketers will be provided with coupon cards that gives 10% off every first transaction of the user.
Each marketer will have a different coupon code so that we can easily track each of 'em.
Then, the other 5% goes to the marketer.
Reasons being that the marketer would, on his or on her own would target the high paying customers
which will be of advantage to us.
And, again, we 're running on a low budget.
And, we 'll have a base salary for the marketers(though it may not be much).
Do you think this model will work?
If not, why?
And, please, what do you advice?
