During the last Radar Offline event, I noticed a few people who were (arguably) quite likable and charismatic. People tended to walk up to them for a conversation. When I came across this article (The 9 Habits of Insanely Likable and Charismatic People) from Hubspot, I compared and contrasted their characteristics with the 9 Habits listed in the article.
TL;DR - Here are the 9 Habits of insanely charming and characteristics people:
- They are empathetic
- They are humble
- They are vulnerable
- They are have a sense of humor
- They are present
- They are genuinely interested in EVERYONE
- They avoid social narcissism
- They are generous and altruistic
- They reciprocate praise (and take blame)
Most successful entrepreneurs tend to have some of these characteristics naturally and strive to learn others. I know that it might be difficult to pass all of them, however, which of them are utmostly essential for entrepreneurial success?
