I’ve noticed that asides Techcabal , Techpoint , Techcity and Misstechy , there’s no top-notch Tech blog in Nigeria that we can boast of.
Mobilityarena was doing well but their content quality has dropped significantly , and their currently site layout is awful.
Been trying to understand what’s wrong and i the problem is that low quality blogs tends to generate more revenue than blogs with high quality content.
What do you think? And what can be done to improve this?

Only tech blog I know in Nigeria is Techcabal. One time it was TechLoy. I think it’s the nature of the ecosystem yet. It’s quite small, everyone knows everyone so it’s just typical everyone gravitate to the leading media company.
Unlike showbiz and gossips.
There are Tech Blogs, issue is your definition of what Top notch will be.
a) Unique Visitors
b) Active Commentary
c) Brand and Knowledgebase
d) Visibility
Some blogs focus on Gadgets, Some on Startups and Tech Entreprenuership it depends on what your ranking parameter is but No i believe there are many, Techcabal has been able to position itself as a Great destination for startup tech related news it went further with Radar to build a community of tech startup enthusiasts and have been running events to support the Startup Ecosystem you can say their primary target market are Startups in General, you cant compare same with a Blog whose sole aim is on Gadget Review who would most definitely Target Phone manufacturers…

I’ve always said the same thing, most Nigerian tech blogs I have seen don’t even have anything to do with tech. Apart from the guys you mentioned, the best Nigerian Tech site I know is techmymoney(dot)com http://techmymoney.com/ you be the judge
What if this ‘tech your moneyguy’ just get banned entirely.
OP, you should’ve jusr added something like ‘IMO’.
