Remita.net should be getting a lot of traffic currently as NYSC registration for 2017 batch A is ongoing. Prospective Corp members (PMC) are expected to pay the sum of 3000 naira to NYSC and Remita.net is the payment processing service every PMC must use to make this payment.
I am a developer and a tech enthusiast but interacting with Remita.net’s payment system last week made me feel like a total learner (we are all learners sha ).
finally offline deposit at a bank branch.
I tried using using method 1-3 with no luck, I didn’t try method 5 because that will eliminate the effectiveness technology and Internet offer. I don’t even know why method 5 exists? Or is remita trying to tell their users that “hey, look all our Internet payment options s*ck”?
Method 5 brings me to the title of my thread. Is remita an online solution that makes you drive to a bank branch to complete payment? Or what…? I am lost. Many fresh graduates may be suffering in silence because of the way remita process payment.
Bro,I think you should relax oo. Remita is one of a leading payment platforms in Nigeria, and it did not arrive there overnight. I think the platform can have issues at time, like all things humans are behind. Assuming it is a perfect platform is like assuming that Interswitch or other Naija platforms dont act up too.
The Remita I have used in the past is really reliable. My preferred payment option is actually online. You cant ask them to remove bank platforms just like that na. Yes, we are going cashless, but it wont happen overnight and it is not everybody that has access to online. Shey you get?
But Remita is operated by human beings sha…doesnt take away from its value.
The same remita that remove the option to pay with verve card from their platform, some of us have only have card and they’ve decided to remove it.
Also, why add deposit at bank at all. My own experience with remita is always unpleasant so I will always pay someone to help make the payment.
You can imagine if you have a charge back issue, the customer service will never attend to you, the bank will never attend to you… All of them will be tossing you around unlike if it’s interswitch all you do fill a form in your bank after 24 hours of it doesn’t reverse.
