Really? Not only an invasion of privacy but have you ever stood below a drone? They make a racket.
Campus security, maybe. Test proctoring? Yikes.
Silly people.
Not sure they actually thought it through. Seems to me like a case of administration trying to seem “techy”.
LOL So you’ll still need a person to still control each drone. Yes?
ALL THAT NOISE during an exam? Wawuuu
Yes, you’d need a controller for sure. BTW, there are plenty of others who have also taken drone use a bit too far.

AH AH AH… Should I call this misplacement of priority? Well, It won’t work anyway… Why not teach their engineering students how to make a drone duh!
Well when innovativeness is pushed too far, it becomes glaringly boring.
And sometimes dangerous. In this case, it’s innovation for innovation’s sake. Not a need.
Mehn!!! These guys are joking right. That is such a horrible idea. My startup builds drones and iknow first hand how much damage this thing can cause if anything goes wrong. We’ve not even Considered the noise, air draft by the propellers, control…
As stated in the comments, good for security but not this
Tell us more about this startup. No, seriously.
I’m also interested in knowing about this startup that builds drones. ![]()
Plus University of Illorin using drones can only be good for your business right. Maybe you are contracted to build the drones they will use. ![]()

Apologies in advance. my comments will be vague, but it wont leave you scratching your head too much. we are still in stealth mode and don’t want to attract too much attention yet.
Drones are everywhere and they all lack long flight time and multiple functionality. As a company we are leveraging on years of research and development to build a truly ubiquitous and multi-functional product. we currently have over 20 patent pending solutions to problems plaguing the drone industry and to a large extent the aerospace industry. Our products offer about 1hr 30 mins of flight time with very good cargo capacity than the best drones in the market.(about 25 mins).
we have an amazing team.Awesome set of programmers and engineers of which one of the handsome lads who commented on this thread is one. we have one of the best product designers in the world on our team( im still wrapping my head around how i talked him into designing our products). our adviser is one of those guys you hear of in articles when those big shot angel investors are pulling weights.
we are still in stealth mode and raising funds for product development and will launch second Quarter next year.
About me; im one of those guys who grew up reading alot of books. but in my case, lots of aeronautic books. i built my first flying airplane around age 8 and my first working jet engine around age 14. I’ve researched the industry, studied and worked on lot of hard ware projects ever since.Having a hard baked residual knowledge of the industry from childhood makes it seem too easy to invent new solutions for the industry. and YES im Nigerian. if you can track me down on facebook, you will see some of my scratch build drones from months back
i hope this doesn’t bring up more questions than it answers.
cheers guys!!
Stark? Which one, Tony or Eddard?
This should be simple enough
One died like a chicken, the other is a multi-billionaire with arguably the coolest flying suit EVER!
Great. I should add that the flight time and cargo capacity actually made me imagine a perfect vehicle for smuggling contraband cross border.
maybe well build tech on request to counter the smuggling contraband issue , who knows !! (sword and shield)
wait till i have a huge press conference where ill announce…
I am IRON MAN!!
Shut up and take my money!!! (I’m seriously hoping your claim == true )
You might just be my long lost twin.

We are actually triplets if you remember correctly.

Nail on the head! WORD!!
