Finally, the much awaited Ministerial List from President Buhari is out and I know we all have our opinions concerning it but that is not what I want us to talk about. Who do you believe would be the new Minister of Technology and what should be the vision of that ministry taking the sector forward? I believe Omobola Johnson did a good job and it could be improved upon. If you don’t know the people on the LEGENDARY LIST OF LIFE here they are.

In 2012, Orosanye’s report recommended scrapping of agencies such as NITDA and CPN. http://www.punchng.com/business/technology/x-raying-implications-of-oronsayes-report-on-it-industry/
This is 2015, PMB, who supports Orosanye’s report, may eventually scrap the ICT ministry in the name of cutting cost. And we will just be left with the Ministry of Science and Technology. I fear there is no one in #TheList who knows about the national broadband or ICT policy.

We just have to watch out for final episode of #TheList before we conclude who get to replace Mobola Johnson.
Orosanye report or not, merging ministries is not ideal and that politically speaking ‘considering that every state must have someone in the federal cabinet’.
