Jide Technology is bringing its Remix OS-powered Remix Mini Android PC to Nigeria next week. I’ll be chatting to Jide Technology co-founder, David Ko in a live broadcast at noon on Wednesday the 30th (tomorrow). I have many questions. The first of which is why does their company sound like it was named for a Yoruba demon? Subscribe to get notified when we go live.
We’ll be giving out two Remix Mini Android PCs during the broadcast, so, you know what to do.
I wrote a detailed post about the whole thing here.
UPDATE: Broadcast done, thanks for all who could make it. Here’s the video replay.
I’ve been a fan of Remix OS ever since I saw the pics, and I planned on downloading and dual-booting it on my PC in a few days. (Unfortunately, I don’t have enough data currently to afford that.) It’s great, what these guys are doing. They really took Android-x86 several steps further by implementing so many things that make PCs PCs. Taskbar, right-click menu, “start” button. And they deliver, too, not like those Kickstarter guys, Console OS.
