I think it’s very newsworthy. Managing a group of about 235,692 persons (at the time of checking) is no mean feat. This could be a full-time job for an administrator or moderator if they can sheathe their swords and find a way to monetise the group. They can even incorporate a company out of this and create a reality show.

BTW, it seems all my female friends are on the group, why am I just hearing about them?

Indeed it is newsworthy considering that group was at 30k members when I joined early 2014. To amass a membership of 235k in our clime is a big deal. Ask any foodie in Nigeria where they go for their food reference, it will very likely be SYTYCC
