Studiolyf is music community marketplace where musicians find and book music studio time or hire music production professionals.
Studiolyf is disrupting a $15B/year inefficient music-production services market by connecting musicians with vetted professional mixing & mastering engineers, producers and other production pros who get them to a great sounding finished product.
Would love to hear your thoughts on Studiolyf and also if you are interested in the platform send me a DM.

How do you plan to let your prospective clients know about the availability of the platform? Also, what groundwork do you have in place (like deals and connections with this recording studios)?
@ChukwuEmekaAjah thanks a lot for the question. We are still in beta stage, we have talked with some music studio owners and music production professionals and they really love the idea and so based on their feedback, we are reinventing the platform in order to suit there need. Thanks
Hi @Ezehuche, firstly i really do not think musicians or artists faces the problem of finding or locating studios or sound engineers around them. At the end of the day if you do connect these artists with vetted mixing and mastering engineers, producers or the like as your startup aims to- who pays for the job done.
Basically i think artists (under ground or full blown) sticks with their connect. I may be wrong anyways, though i worked on something similar earlier in the year.
What if the value proposition from you is helping them get the much desired reach they yearn for? Just like @Daniel_Aribiton said; the artists already know music studios and producers but if you can tweak your platform in a format in which artistes can make ‘pitch’ top notch producers and studios, that would be cool.
@Daniel_Aribiton 1) Every upcoming music artist face the problem of locating a good music studio or music producer in Nigeria, most of upcoming music artists always end up reproducing a particular track 2 to 4 times, which involve travelling a long distance in search of a good music studio or music producer, most of my friends are music artist so i know what am talking about.
2) Change of environment really affects, music artists always find it difficult in locating a good music studio in a new environment.
3) They don’t always stick with their connect, they do diversify a lot, a music producer that is good with hip-pop may not be good with RnB the same thing applies to music studios, but they tend to value one more.
I have been down this same road man, was a manger to a few friend who happens to be underground acts earlier this year. They have a problem certainly but i really don’t think this problem you are trying to solve is a pain point for them honestly man.
I thought same way as you mate, wanted to found a startup to solve this problem(check the image attached below), but after talking to a number of underground act, i did find that this isn’t their main pain point even if it were, is the market big enough? How do you plan to make money off these guys. Remember, if at all this problem exists for dem guys, your target audience are up and coming or underground acts, they sponsor themselves and most time has limited funds to spare. Like i stated earlier man, i may be wrong, a great deal of research and well thought out plan may help.
PS: Don’t mind the jargon in that image below, can’t find the actual mail i sent out
