The new design really looks cool to the eye. But I still prefer the way the headphone was packed separately.
Talking about the boom headphones being packed differently, I am just hoping that all them Alaba boys won’t start selling the headphones differently oooo

My thoughts too. Nice design outlook. But what about the headset? The designer from Akanka should have done a separate bit for that too. As far as I’m concerned, the headphone is what stands the Boom J8 out. It’s the major selling point for the gadget because we’ve seen nothing like it. At least, not in recent times that I’m aware of. So, in my opinion, if the designer wants to capture Tecno’s full attention, then the packaging should speak boldly about the headset too.
All in all, great job from the package “redesigner”.
The most enticing part of the package is the design…I love it.

Thanks. Glad you liked it! Although I run the startup that did the redesign http://www.akanka.com our creative lead handled the redesign. The reason we focused more on the main package is simply because that needed more of the redesign than anything else. We liked the transparent cover of the headphone box which gives you a peek into the box without opening it. Barring a couple of very minor design tweaks, it’s alright really, so didn’t need to be focused on. Hope this helps clarify. Cheers.
