So…I decided to write about “it”

“I’d promised myself that I wouldn’t write about it. And for good reason too. These are some of the questions I ask myself before commenting on any topic: 1. Do I understand the facts of the case? 2. Is my point of view completely new? Impossible. But, Is it objective? 3. Do I have information…”

Kudos to Apple for taking a firm decision against FBI.

This has also generated a lot of free PR for Apple at the same time and a lot of potential future sales.

Good luck Apple for employing “FBI” as their PR bait.

Once you dropped the opening sequence from Samurai Jack in your piece, I yelled “Wha-cha!!”, agreed with every single thing you had to say, even without finishing the article…and headed straight for my DVD stash for some SJ nourishment.

I’m really hoping you said “DVD stash” for the dramatic effect.

Liked for being a Samurai Jack fan. You know a new season is in the works. Can’t wait.

Long ago in a dis…coughs.

Yeah really nice read.

I, Aku!!!.. couldn’t help myself.

Top top growth hacking!!!

You just drew my attention to @spokentwice’s comment though.

Apple is basically etched into hundreds of millions of people’s minds. What free PR ? I mean, it’s Apple. They don’t growth hack they just launch million dollar marketing campaigns :grinning:.

If anything, this is going to make some people search for phones with security as their number one selling point.

There is a limit to marketing campaigns, it is called saturation point. Of course, they are Apple. How else can they find growth when they hit saturation? This case landed on their plate at the very right time… what you may call an opportunity.

I dont think we should limit growth hacking to startups, every business should seek growth if it wants more growth (sorry coulnt phrase it better). In Apple’s case, tell the world you are big on security and you will see the additional sales roll in.
