Over the years, there’s been an unrest in the ecommerce ecosystem. It is said that the introduction of COD has helped in some ways to increase sales but has this been sustainable for the startup companies involved? Even PAYPORTE recently made a new header banner out of its suspension
I am currently working on an online retail solution and after much considerations we have decided not to do COD but to go for either of these;
- Shipment Prepayment: Pay for shipping and when item arrives you pay for product.
- Pay before delivery: Pay both shipping and value of item before order is processed.
What are your thoughts? all insight will be wonderfully appreciated.
