Share your workstation

I have an addiction to developer workstations. I remember working at connectnigeria.com as C.T.O @davidadamojr came to visit once and saw my setup and was shocked that I had four screens and 8gb ram which was a big deal in 2011(at least to some of us). ConnectNigeria provided me the perfect workstation which I loved! Since then I have been addicted to working on multiple screens and somehow feel restricted when I am out alone with my 13inch macbook(that’s about to be history as I donated to slidenjoy on Kickstarter and would be getting one when they release it). I’d love to see how others get work done. Below are the various workstations I have used in the past and presently use.

and whats this comment supposed to mean?

nice. but you should have gotten a thunderbolt don’t you think. this looks really cool.

That would require him to have a thunderbolt card, which would in turn require him to have a supported motherboard. At the moment, I only know of two - Gigabyte’s X99 line of motherboards, and select Asus models.

Lol. Stealing my workstation, that’s something. Mm Hmm. You would have to break into My Nest first. Thanks though. And for the hard-drive, I already had two HDDs, one 2TB and one 500gb from two older PCs. So I just got the SSD for the OS alone. So it loads faster. Also saved me having to transfer files or reinstall all my apps/games.

Very well said. And they are always sold out because of demand. The motherboards I mean

Thanks a lot. But thunderbolt was a long thing like XOlubi already said

He has an MBP @knightbenax am I right? So he can just buy the adapter for about 4k to 5k either vga or hdmi. That’s what I currently use.

You would fall in love with it eventually if you do get it

I hear you, but in addition to the two screens on his desktop rig which is presumably where he spends most of his time though?

I love your toys tho but I think I got way more :stuck_out_tongue: lol. Iron man, thor, hulk, surfs, spider(including a wall art of him), batman. But the neatness of your desk tho… The only thing missing is a magic mouse. That mouse pad messes things up

I kinda think his mbp is connected to the smaller screen. The darker shot shows they both have the same wallpapers. Might be a coincidence tho.
