Selling My Idea For 2 Billion Naira

I was recently invited to a meeting by a close friend of mine, to meet ‘this idea guy’. The purpose of the meeting was that the idea guy wants to sell his idea for 2 billion naira. Shocked ??? Well i was too. He is selling an idea he feels would revolutionise advertising and he wants to sell it with no prototype whatsoever, no demo, absolutely nothing about how it going to work, just the idea. Are people still this stupid in 2016 ??? Do you think ideas should be priced ? What is your take ?

I’ll believe it when I see it. Ideas are a dime a dozen. Anybody can churn out an idea if you prod them well enough.

What I could pay for is a growth/execution proposal. How are you going to build this? How will you make it profitable? Any kinks? Market survey?

I can sell you my opinion to your question for just 1 Million Naira. Are you ready to do some good buisness? My opinion will revolutionise the types of meetings that you should attend…

This is 2016 ideas rule the world we know…but this is foolish how can i measure if this idea is worth a billion, Oh 2 BILLION! come on this is not done anywhere. But i will like to know when he hopes to be paid; Before he spills IT or After he spills it ?

That guy will refine his con and come across a fool who will give him that 2 billion. If you hear con men’s stories you will be shocked how foolish some people can be in this world. Usually trust fund babies and elderly people are the targets

Anybody who has 2 billion Naira most likely didn’t get it by being stupid.

Well, some did. However they are likely going to get conned by a license seller than an idea seller.

Yes, most are intelligent, but there are some who are clueless. Watch any documentary showing how fraud is carried out you will see how common this is

I don’t see the problem here. Buy the idea on credit, on the grounds that the he’ll get his money when the 2 billion Naira idea proves to be worth that amount and that if his idea doesn’t fetch that much money, he won’t get paid.

Why did Google acquired Youtube some years ago and Facebook-whatsapp in 2014?

Any particular reason why you are going around resurrecting dead threads?

New, and wants a bit of attention.

Better than opening new ones.

“Watch and learn” Not bad for a Mantra!
