Scared to go live

Hello fam. I bought this script and got a programmer tweak just the button shapes and colors. The thing now is, I don’t just know what lured me to read about hackers this evening. Things i’ve read so far are really scary. I’m not a techie guy at all. Just wana have my site up and running smoothly with no threats.
Please, I just wana ask, is there a site out there that help prevent hackers for a fee? something like webhost, a site that I can subscribe my site to that will take care of this hacking stuff.
Thank you.

Try getting ssl certification for your website

Does ssl close security leakage from poor programming?

thanks alot

What are your thoughts bro?

Security is never 100% you need a programmer to run some common security checks, and so on… That’s the much I can say and I am not available for the security check job too :stuck_out_tongue:

I am available oo

Even top companies still get hacked. nothing you can do except to make it harder for anyone to hack it, though some might get challenged by the difficulty lol good luck

Okay so i’ll need your site’s admin username and password and a link to where those will be useful. I’ll protect your site from hackers and other insects.

Just like that?

No point beating about the bush when you’ve got strong pesticides.

Well that was ironic, perhaps your fear of getting hacked jinxed it.

You are DEFINITELY worried about the wrong thing. You made me remember Martha in the bible

Guess what, no one worries about a “dead” site. Your first worry should be to get your site off the grand and generate traffic. It is only when real users know your site that hacker will think of hacking you.

Prioritise your problem that way.

This does not mean you should not prioritise security, but it is not your No. 1 problem.

Interesting, always backing your quotes with the Bible, I love that.

Someone mentioned cloudflare. I intend on using bluehost as webhost. After some research on site with similar niche, I see that their site is hosted on cloudflare. Now i’m confused. Is it that, after hosting on bluehost i’ll now subscribe to one of cloudflare plans or cloudflare is a webhost itself?

I can’t just differentiate the two! Thanks.

Cloudflare comes as a feature on most web host. If yours didn’t come with it you can go to cloudflare official site for guide on how to add it to your hosting.

No cloudflare isn’t an alternative web hosting provider.
