Productive.ng - A Digital Content Marketplace

Hello Guys, I want to introduce productive.ng, a digital content marketplace for creatives, entrepreneurs, artist, engineers, researchers and all types of intellectuals to publish and sell their works. Our main focus is on digital assets that make work easier, so we don’t do content for entertainment.

The kind of content we do are

  • Business Documents Templates (brochures, memos, legal, proposals, company profiles, etc)
  • Photos/Graphics ( Illustrations, Logos, Stock Photos, etc)
  • Designs (Mock-ups, Project & Engineering designs, website templates)
  • e-Books & Audio books
  • Software
  • Audio ( Music Scores, Self-Help, etc)
  • Videos ( Tutorial, Montage, etc)

It is a marketplace so anybody can sign-up as a producer and start selling their digital assets, the producer fixes the price of the asset. However, we earn a 40% commission which will eventually reduce to as much as 30% with more sales. Producers are not selling off their digital assets but selling licenses to buyers to use.

We are inspired by thousands of smart people whose creative work does not see the light of day, thus productive.ng is a platform that says no to ‘creative waste’** (beautiful work idling away on hard drives)**.

We kind of used the Envato model but contextualised the model to suite our local ecosystem. We are not in a hurry to publish everything because we want to ensure that every content on our platform is quality. Currently, our proudest achievement is the Nigerian Constitution in MP3 format.

It would be nice Radarians checked out productive.ng, let us get your criticism (constructive ones oh).

Thanks! :relaxed:

Love this! The way Nigeria’s online presence is really growing makes me so happy

My two bits:

  • I can’t seem to right click on any of the links on the page (I always like opening new links in a new tab) so as to get to the context menu

  • When I try to update my profile details I keep getting this error:

  • After signing in, some of the pages I go to still show the “SIGN IN/UP” at the top right corner.

Well done tho…

Thanks for the feedback. I’m sure you can now right click. I think we have fixed the error :slightly_smiling:
But the Sign in/up… I find strange, still looking into it

Thanks again!

You’re welcome… I think the sign in/up thing has something to do with the cache… Just a hunch tho…
