Hi everyone, My name is Akinmosin Kolawole samuel- I’m really excited to introduce Premierwrite.com to you- This is a platform that connects readers to creative content providers. It is a meeting point where writers are connected with readers and business or brand owners seeking the service of a freelance writer.

Why Premierwrite?
Premierwrite is a platform that works like medium for Nigerians. Today in Nigeria, there are lots of creative writers that are either struggling with traffic on their blog or just writing through facebook where its easy for their content to get ignored or some just thought perhaps writing isn’t for them.

The writing industry is growing in Nigeria and premierwrite.com is providing the platform for writers to share their creative content with the right audience.

My vision is to redefine the writing industry, put creative and unpublished writers on the spotlight and create a platform where they can earn while doing what they love.

HOW IT WORKS?
Visit premierwrite.com and sign up to create a profile. We have two accounts, one is the writers account(That allows writers to publish their articles on our blog) and the other is Freelance account(That allows writers to bid on created freelance work by clients and they get paid for every completed freelance project).
N.B our freelance portal has been in testing phase for a while and will be launched towards the end of april.

BENEFIT FOR WRITERS?
Aside the fact writers can make money via our freelance portal, writing on premierwrite.com is like having your own blog under a major platform. The writers account dashboard has detailed analytics and stats for writers to see how each of their published post is doing. Number of views, comments and profile visits. You own and personalize your writing experience.

Writers have the opportunity to link ther social media handle to their account and also include link to thier personal website in each post they share, so that traffic can be linked back to their own platform.

Now, Although we have two separate account, writers can activate the two and operate both Writer’s and Freelance account. They will be able to switch between them from their dashboard.

A publishing platform has two jobs - 1) provide tools for its users to create content and 2) enable wide distribution and monetisation. Neither of those things is a direct function of geographic affiliation, so I’ll ask. Why is Premierwrite better? Better question. What makes Premierwrite Nigerian? A Nigerian audience? Nigerian founders? Built on a stack that was developed by Nigerians alone? Site hosted in Nigeria? Monetizes via a Nigerian ad network? Office located in a Nigerian city? Available for use in only Nigerian languages? Available for use by only Nigerians living in Nigeria?

In other words, does the geographic differentiation, offer a higher value prop to me as a writer, hosting my content on medium and its ilk? A value prop so high, I’d be willing to dish out 1k every single month??

Well, good questions.

1. Premierwrite is targetting to publish mainly Nigerian Stories as of now, perhaps with time, we can expand and possibly have premierwrite available in other African language. Of course, international writers are welcome but we are targetting to publish main Nigerian writers.

2. Premierwrite is free for starters. Our Diamond account is for professional writers and perhaps writers that wants a better deal on premierwrite. For instance, once we launch our freelance portal, Diamond account user gets a higher percentage payout than basic account users. Diamond account user gets a faster time on post approval, we put Diamond account users on our Premier Spotlight as form of brand promotion. We promote their content across all our social media platform.

The Diamond account on the long run will offer alot more value than 1k. For instance, we are currently working on an automated tool to enable writers create, publish their Ebook on premierwrite and put it up for sale, this will be available for Diamond account users. Okadabooks uses recharge card for example, we simply take a one time fee.

While premierwrite cannot of obviously be restricted to one geographical location, our target is simply to put creative and talented Nigerian writers on the spotlight.
