I am sick and tired of Whogohost due to so many downtimes, that company has been messing up with some of my websites lately and i have come to agree with those who always say Nigerian hosting companies are not reliable, please what foreign hosting do you recommend?

I have a dedicated server all to my self and i can host you for a fee…
I use Digitalocean
Linode for me. I would do all that is possible to avoid GoDaddy though. They would lock you out if your card defaults payment without warning. If they delete your server, you may have to pay more than you owe them to recover it back.
Digitalocean or Linode, get a dedicated server and build yourself.

I know there have been not so good reviews​ for Whogohost but they do not define the whole of Nigeria. We still have good people doing great stuff here​.
I don’t know if the others are not confident in their services, or maybe not sufficiently funded to battle Whogohost for top ad and first page positions in AdWords. As I’ve always seen Whogohost come first when searching for “best web host in nigeria”.
We are so quick to judge our own. Please be frank how much did you pay for the hosting at whogohost. if you pay them the same amount you pay to GoDaddy you will get more. Please bare in mind that when you purchase a VPN from guys like Linode/digital ocean, you have to manage it yourself …a task that your webhosting provider has been doing for you. Be prepared to do your own security, backups, configuration and installation etc.
I hate it when people insinuate that a company has the right to offer crappy services because they charge cheaply.
Even though it is true that very cheap companies typical offer crappy services, but we should not accept this. We must hold them accountable for whatever they offered to sell and what we agreed to buy. If the customer is asking for more than what was offered , then it’s a different story… but. When the customer is asking for what what offered then there should be no excuse. It’s either you offer what was promised or don’t do business at all. There is simply no excuse to offer crappy services.
PS: I am not saying Whogohost offers crappy services… I have never used their hosting services… so I can’t tell.
