I’ve been asking the same question! Given the proliferation of radio stations across the length & breadth of Nigeria…
Three technologies comes to mind: acoustic fingerprinting(think of it as a biometric file created during human fingerprinting), to create a database of every file uploaded, voice recognition, they may or may not employ the use of natural language processing “but more bang than Shazam” that’s the only other technology I think could improve media identification and some specialized hardware to monitor all tv and radio stations(this has been in existence for a very long time). And yeah, cloud computing to process those data generated.
