You send their money to them.

Payment splitting. Important feature

I get that, but right now we don’t have it. A well balanced implementation that doesn’t raise its own set of support issues requires a lot of thought put into it. However in the meantime, you can always handle the disbursement of funds within your product. Just like (to put it in context) Konga pays out its sellers.

Sure I get what you mean. I look forward to this feature on paystack somewhere down the line.

I was exited about Paystack and the most impressive part was that it took a record less than 3 hours to put my account LIVE. I intermediately did a test payment for one of the items on my online store and It worked as expected.
However, it tool 3 days for the money to reflect in my account. So I ask (a layman question), what if someone uses a card that has N0.00 balance, how will the system detect that there is not enough funds to carry out the purchase?

The cardholder’s account was debited immediately. If there was no money in it, the charge would have been unsuccessful and you would have known immediately. The process of the money actually moving around all the parties involved in the transaction though - the issuing bank, the card network, the acquiring bank, the switch, and eventually Paystack isn’t immediate. You can check this link for a visual - https://www.mastercard.com/ca/merchant/en/getstarted/Anatomy_transaction.html

We don’t get value in our accounts in two days. It takes longer, and the schedule is haphazard. However, our promise to settle transactions 2 days after they occur (and everyday too, including weekends) is one that puts the convenience of our merchants first.

I can’t signup, I got this error “Account could not be created
Could not connect to the server. Please check your connection and try again”

Definitely an awesome platform. I recently changed my e-commerce platform from virtuemart to magento and I was not looking forward to dealing with integrating a local payment platform. The ones I used in the past still make me lament small.
A friend of mine kept harping on how good they are and after I experienced the swift transaction when paying my internet provider, Tizeti (wifi.com.ng), I sharply called them for my iyaoloja.com

I made a complaint to the developer and within 2 weeks, as promised, he emailed me a resolution without any prodding from my end. Amazing!

Fantastic customer service and I love that my accounting team can access the paystack backend with their own login access to confirm transactions without using my own login credentials.

I also worry a bit about the security bit. Do you still plan to use OTP and will that affect recurring transactions?
If not, who bears the cost of fraudulent transactions?

Finally, I see that Access bank is currently a partner, will there be other banks coming on board? If so, which ones and what is the eta?

pls baba amount pm and send your pm account for more information on it
