At Asterix Innovative Solutions, we look for problems and dream up solutions to these problems. Till date we manage two platforms, Justfrom5k.com and Adblabla.com. Currently we are in the final stages of adding a third platform to our portfolio
and we are looking for two “sharp” people to join our team in top level positions as we plan to launch this new platform.
Chief Operating Officer
The COO will practically be the man on the ground. This person will be expected to take charge of EVERYTHING . He/She will report directly to the CEO.
The biggest qualification we need is for this person to have a burning desire to build a unicorn. Given that this startup plays in the eCommerce space, someone with a prior experience working for an eCommerce platform will have an added advantage.
Compensation: We are bootstrapping this startup as we do not have any external investor yet, so compensation will have both cash and equity components. As part of your job, you will be involved in preparing pitch decks and making presentations to potential investors.
Head, Vendor Acquisition
This position reports to the COO and as the name suggest, the person will lead the team sourcing for new and negotiating prices with vendors to list their products on the platform. This person will also organize on-boarding sessions and also manages the relationships with all vendors
Qualification: Prior experience working for an eCommerce startup and involved in supply chain, vendor management and procurement. Held Positions such as category manager for Konga or Buyer for Jumia.
Compensation: Compensation will have both cash and equity components.
