I was very impressed with how quickly the biggest tech companies in the US formed a coalition to fight Trumps Travel ban and i can’t help but wonder if such a coalition will be impossible to replicate in our ecosystem to fight for issue’s that affect us.

I strongly believe it’s possible. @Nosaaaa it doesn’t have to be the courts. There are several other ways to make the govt more accountable to us.

Precisely the point… if the courts are the only system available to seek redress and they are functioning sub-optimally, na there the matta go rest…
Yeah why not the electricity tarrif increment was fought and won at our courts last year, so even though i agree that our Justice system is in a sorry state,it’s still better than doing nothing.
Yes you are right there are other way’s like drafting legislative bills that could help us and Nigeria at large and aligning with Red and Green chamber members to sponsor them on the floor.
You need to consider that these companies aren’t just tech companies, they are the largest companies in the US (and the world) and will have more influence over the government of the country they operate in. Especially if they consolidate.
That said, like @Nosaaaa implied, having a working legal system definitely helps.

They’re mostly multi billion dollar and hundred million dollar companies. How many $20m startups do we have in Nigeria? When we have 20 startups that are crucial to the Nigerian economy then maybe we can start thinking about this.
