eHealth, Colab Innovation Hub and Kaduna Bureau of Statistics are hosting the biggest Hackathon to ever happen in Northern Nigeria, between the 27th and 29th of November, 2018.
The premise of the hackathon is simple, during the hackathon, participants will try and build prototypes that can help solve any challenges in the health or education sector (particularly for Kaduna state) using data and APIs from the GRID3 project, so participants have to have experience working with APIs.
There’ll be an on-site and online hackathon happening concurrently, The prize money for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd best prototypes will be N1,000,000, N750,000 and N500,000 respectively for the onsite hackathon, while the prizes for the online hackathon would be N500,000, N300,000 and N200,000 for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively.
