MTN will declare a full year loss for 2016

All is not well with MTN Group. The owners of MTN Nigeria are expected to report a full year loss for 2016.

As the largest marketing and advertising spender in Nigeria and Africa, it will have serious impact on business as 2017 will be a year for MTN to cut budget.

MTN has attributed the negative result to the NGN330 billion fine it is paying Nigeria.

But do you guys think MTN also has itself to blame for its current position?
