Lordbanks why are you doing this?

We launched a web hosting platform this year (project we have been working on since last year 2016) a project we started to help Nigerian developers who maybe struggling with hosting their sites. I decided to start a topic here concerning the project because I guessed it will benefit Radar users many of whom are developers but @lordbanks keeps taking it down and disabling my account. I really don’t know why, he keeps coming up with different flimsy reasons and now I think he has something personal with us. I’ve been trying to get my topic listed on the forum but he takes it down. Today I tried to login to my old account but couldn’t, I tried to reset my password but it didn’t go through. Guessing he may have disabled my account I created a new one and decided to post topic about my project here again. This time around @lordbanks called me a spammer and took it down. I want to bring this issue to the public in case someone here who knows him can wade into the matter. I don’t know @lordbanks personally to understand why he is doing this neither have I done any business transactions with him to warrant his calling me a spammer. I hope he will be able explain how I am a spammer or our project been a spam. What did I do to him to warrant the insult I received been called a spammer. If @lordbanks has an issue with me personally or our project then he can email me to inform me about it and not to go about it this way. If this has turned to some kind of hate then it tells a lot about his motives. It’s quite unfortunate that it has gotten to this.

Here is a link to a previous topic I raised after he deleted one of my previous account - Why was my account deleted

Here is a link to post accusing me of been a spammer

In case you can’t see the post where he accused me of been a spammer here is a screenshot below.

OP he said spam not scam. There’s a difference. A yuge one.

The grammatical wahala a single letter can cause.

Bankole you guys could easily make provision for sponsored threads on Radar. Small change of 20k or something gets anyone a 12hr globally pinned post on Radar. Users can control the pin scheduling for an expirational spread of 3 days [or simply just pin for 12 straight hrs].

Bottomline that should ease induction for guys who straight up joined to post up their services. No shame here.

My 50 cents.

Hi thanks for the correction I will go ahead and edit my post, I do hope he can explain his action.

I’m afraid if you don’t know what a “Spam” is and you’re planning to render to services which you claimed your new company offers…then you’re a scam drops mic

@Rothmas that was a mistake I was kinda upset with his last action as this has been going on for sometime. No one is above mistake I just want him to explain himself, I feel with him the issue is now personal.

I know what a spam is… here is a previous thread on the matter Why was my account deleted

Also I appeal that before you pass a judgement, try out the platform first.

@Andy your reply is not objective. so what’s a spam, here is a definition (Sourced from Google - https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q=spam+definition).

1. irrelevant or unsolicited messages sent over the Internet, typically to a large number of users, for the purposes of advertising, phishing, spreading malware, etc. unwanted or intrusive advertising on the Internet. "an autogenerated spam website"

2. trademark a tinned meat product made mainly from ham.

3. send the same message indiscriminately to (a large number of Internet users).

Systematically spamming by playing the victim.

I don’t have to explain anything, you have explained it all yourself, in your own rambling way, and proved that you’re either a bald-faced spammer or don’t know how communities work, or both.

The only part you got wrong is about it being personal. Like you said, you don’t know me, and I don’t know you. Save for the small matter of you creating multiple accounts to incessantly peddle one link, there is zero reason to single you out of thousands of registered users and pick on you.

If you plan on continuing to use Radar, I’m going to need you to decide which account you would like to keep. If you elect to not respond in the next 12 hours, we will assume that you would like to keep the latest one and delete the previous. I must say though that subsequent infractions of the same nature will invite a permanent ban.

At any rate, this has been an instructive episode, and I will set this thread to close in 12 hours.

@87_chuks you are right, we did announce a sponsored thread facility last year, but we did not promote its existence. I was more concerned with finding a community manager at the time. Thanks for the note, and we’ll do more to make existing users and news users aware during the onboarding process.
