Yap as @obadeyemi has said …i would stand for voguepay as well because i have being a merchant on Voguepay platform for over two years now…and their simplicity and easy integration has made them one of the best indigenous payment platform in Nigeria and even beyond

VoguePay soldier. Two replies/comments since joining in Sept 2015 and both about VoguePay. You try!

While I agree that VoguePay is a good platform. Paystack and SimplePay (& maybe Paga according to a colleague) are easier to integrate. VoguePay still doesn’t offer inline payment.
It all depends on your transaction flow, though.

I was thinking the same thing. Why don’t people search the site for similar posts before creating new ones?

@lordbanks, I would suggest that if it is possible, you guys should design radar in such a way that once people begin to type in keywords for a new thread, some suggestions on similar ones come up to prevent repetitions.

This is exactly how it is done on www.quora.com

At the end of the day, this thread might end up being a voguepay vs paystack ish

I think the feature you suggested is already part of radar. Some people just seem to ignore the info on the right side when making their post.

Yet another Payment vs Payment gateway thread.

People LOVE Paystack,.

People LIKE Voguepay

People like Simplepay.

Choose based on 1) Support System ( debugging, tech friendly, developer friendly, good customer and merchant support)

  1. Card Support ( Accepts 3 cards or just few)

  2. Who is backing them and is known.

Please dont include Interswitch in your search choose between the 3 and close this page.

Thanks all. Grateful

That is exactly what happens when you begin to create a thread. But never underestimate a human’s determination to close the notification and create their own thread instead.

The Remita payment gateway is the best right now. Free to setup and offers you various channels including banks. Give it a try

IMO for a small business like yours, consider these factors after reading reviews about chosen products in the market:

  1. Ease of integration
  2. Cost of integration
  3. Cost per transaction
  4. User friendliness of the product
  5. What are people saying about security of the products online
  6. Support

Consider the above and you should be fine.

Unbelievable

Based on what criteria?
Anyway, pricing info from Remita’s website: 2% (Minimum of ₦100 and a Maximum of ₦2,500)
Depending on a business’ revenue model, it might be impractical to accept payments less than ₦2,000, thanks to Remita charging a ₦100 minimum.

Guess we should do objective review of the favourite payment processors based on criteria provided above.

This will be useful for others who come across this convo now and in future.
Let’s break down what Paystack, VoguePay, Remita and Simplepay have to offer in line with this thread so far.

Anyone ready for this?

What’s the point of this? Create a payment battlefield? So many threads on payment already. Having said that, you can take the lead

@princehumphrey It is not a contest brother. It is a plain review of a couple of businesses offering similar services. Anyone can make choices based on such review depending on what the person actually needs at a particular time.

I get the drift brother. I don’t see the need for it. Why? People will create new threads to ask questions on the thread or even to satisfy their curiosity on a personal basis.

I need answers to a question so I will ask the question even if the answers are knocking me on the head. It’s human. It’s behavioural. Curating the best bits of all payment platforms will not be an exception.

There will be more questions on payment and the discuss will be the same all over again. Sounds defeatist but good to have more threads so @wkyo can give us more gifs
