Looking For Bank Account Ownership Data In Nigeria

Doing some research and I have been trying to get hold of data on bank account ownership in Nigeria - more drilled down than what you would get on the NiBSS or FBS website. Looking for data such as:

  1. How many banked individuals in Nigeria own more than one bank account?
  2. What is the volume and value of the transactions they make between their account across various banks?
  3. How often do they make transactions between these accounts?

Would appreciate anyone who can point me in the right direction.

80% of banked individuals in Nigeria have 2 accounts or more. Don’t ask where I got that stat from.

interesting, when I did a very crude analysis by comparing BVN regsistrations with volume of accounts it came up as on average 2:1 - but as I said thats a very crude way of doing it.
