Like most Nigerian events, admit everyone to talk about everything and most never do anything. But what do I know about this one?
That was my exact feeling upon coming across the thread earlier. The announcement itself is so vague and has absolutely nothing to make me feel connected to it. Of course CIOs at banks and other big shot companies are already picking out their best suits and cologne for the event.
And of course, OP had to use full caps to underscore how BIG it will be.
“Conference, Exhibition, gaming, Hackathon, Pitch event”??
I’ve never known Nigerians to be the best multitaskers!
I learnt in school that there can be only one biggest.
I won’t be surprised if we have 20 “biggest” tech events this year alone.

Let’s encourage ourselves…and keep getting better.
This kind talk can even make Bank CIOs wey @xolubi talk change their mind.
Despite all this BIG events, it help them in investing more in developing local technology than sourcing solutions abroad.

Hopefully, African Internet Group/MTN will use the event to launch HelloPay to the market (amongst other activities)
