Konga SHQ is a Deadpool

A client of mine requested I assist his company setup an E-commerce Platform and I advised him to rather maintain a Konga Store for now.

After successfully registering to Sell on Konga; few hours later, Konga upgraded to a new SHQ.
I thought it was all a little glitch, but it’s over four(4) days now and the experience has been like the banner says.

Turns out i’m not the only person experiencing issues.
I can’t update Bank Details for KongaPay or simply modify Profile Picture.

So this is a little unrelated, but I stopped using Konga to shop recently and became a Jumia-only person. Why?

It seems Konga has a new policy where phone numbers can only be used with one account. Because of this they tied my number to the first Konga account I opened in about 2012 just to test. I never used the account and closed down the (yahoo) email I used to register the account a year later.

About last year I started using Konga again and I made a lot of purchases, but with this new policy I cannot make purchases again. I called their support and asked for my first account to be closed down or for my number to be switched to this current one. The support person “tried it” but said it is not working out so the only solution is to get another number to use on the current account.

So person that has been using one phone number deliberately for about 10 years should get a new one just of Konga?

So these are just the reasons? I even thought they ran away with your money. Smh**

I updated my bank details for KongaPay without issues. Send a mail to shq support and they will even try reaching you on phone to solve whatever problem you’re facing.

@jidetheblogger Are you being for real?
After bragging to my client that Konga is the real deal, we’re facing this much glitch just to get the store up?
What do you think will happen when the Store is finally up and one encounters problem processing pay-outs or updating store items/products. I hope you read the review on Konga Seller Blog too.

BTW; there support is presently De Ja Vu. I can’t shout.
