  2. On your dashboard, in the BUY OR SELL BITCOIN tab, Select Buy Bitcoin
  3. Enter Bitcoin Amount and Bitcoin Address in the appropriate places.
(The Naira equivalent of the Bitcoin amount you entered is automatically calculated.
  4. Click Submit
  5. You proceed by making payment and follow up to get the Bitcoin transfer to your account

To sell Bitcoin, you will need to first fill out your bank details. The steps is similar.

3. what does BTC means
4.who will buy my bitcoin when am ready to sell
5.Do you have any material or link to read more about bitcoin.
6. what are the benefits of having a bitcoin account.

  1. No. The address requested is your own bitcoin address e.g 3J98t1WpEZ73CNmQviecrnyiWrnqRhWNLy
  2. That’s how the exchangers (the people who converts your naira to bitcoin or vice versa) make money.
  3. Short form for Bitcoin
  4. You can sell it back to Nairaex or other exchangers
  5. Check out this link http://blog.nairaex.com/index.php/2015/10/12/bitcoin-explained-in-simple-words-for-nigerians/ You can simply type bitcoin on Google and you will get enough materials you need
  6. Bitcoin is a payment like Paypal and others. But Bitcoin is very fast and has low fees compared to other payment methods, like western union, moneygram & paypal. You can check http://www.coindesk.com/information/why-use-bitcoin/ for more about that

Statement 1

Hol up Hol up
I thought you said you haven’t used it before. It’s a bit strange so I’m only asking because it doesn’t add up.
Unless you learnt all that in the short space of time.

Yeah, it doesn’t.

All I did was to register, login and check the procedure for the guy who asked the question.

Also, I contacted the guy who introduced the site and the owner of the site for info.

I don’t think it takes a big training to click through the pages of the site or any other site for that matter.

Everything I said is right there on the dashboard

Fair Enough. Can’t fault that.

Alright then

Lol. It’s actually easy to figure all of that from the user interface. I was more surprised that @sufianuopeyemi who was interested in buying and selling Bitcoins couldn’t figure out what BTC means, or even the second and fourth questions on his list. I mean, those are basic currency exchange scenarios.

@jekayode answered all the questions correctly.

Money Transfer
One of the biggest bitcoin usecase is remittance. African pays the highest money transfer fees in the world, about $1.8 billion annually. Bitcoin is based on peer-to-peer technology and it can be exchange to local currency in any country.

How it works - If you want to send money to UK.
Buy Bitcoin in Nigeria with Naira, send bitcoin to the person in UK and it can be exchanged back to cash at the other end.

Investment
Trading bitcoin is just like forex, if you know what you are doing you can make money due to the price volatility.

Because Bitcoin tech is open source, there are lot of bitcoin copies called alternate cryptocurrencies that you can buy and sell with Bitcoin because the market/trading is paired with Bitcoin. This is very risky because this area is filled with scams, pump & dump but there’s lot of profit. The ROI can be up to 2000%

Too long to explain, I will just show you an example.

A gaming company Spell of Genesis (BCY) created tokens that can be used for in game purchase and they sold the coins in a crowdsale for about $250K.

1 Bitcoin = 15,000 BYC in the crowdsale, now on the market 15,000 BYC = 1.3 Bitcoin. It was 1.9 Bitcoin few weeks ago.

Also you can use their BYC to buy trading cards in the game.

Today, I woke up early to buy GOXCARD issued in a limited supply of 1 200 units at 250 BYC and the price will be at 1150 BCY at the end of the sale. :grinning:

**Thu, October 29th, 3pm - 3:20pm: 250 BCY**
Thu, October 29th 3:20pm - 3:40pm: 300 BCY
Thu, October 29th, 3:40pm - 4pm: 400 BCY
Thu, October 29th, 4pm - 6pm: 550 BCY
Thu, October 29th, 6pm - Fri, October 30th, 10am : 750 BCY
Fri, October 30th, 10am - Wed, November 4th, 10am: 950 BCY
**From Wed, November 4th, 10am further on: 1 150 BCY**

This is seeming tough to comprehend. Loolz
