Yurdomot is a platform that allow shoppers to request verified vendors who can bring a variety of items to their doorstep for sale.
Buyers will be able to test the items, check the quality, bargain before buying.
Have you been able to get and verify vendors who are willing to spend and move door to door with their goods?
Also, during the verification process how do you make sure the vendors won’t use the buyers personal information like house address and the likes for sinister gains?
It will also be good if there is a mechanism for helping the customers (buyers and vendors) learn how better to relate on the platform so as to ensure quality interactions.

Have you been able to get and verify vendors who are willing to spend and move door to door with their goods? _Yes, the idea actually started out from watching how the traditional door to door selling worked. and i was/am also a vendor. so, we started with vendors, we signed up a couple of them and listen to them. though some of this vendors already operate this model, so it was easy to sell them on the model. their concerns were just security and unserious buyers. _ for the security, we promised to share them a profile of the buyer. we also told them not to meet buyers in enclosed places. In terms of moving around, we will be using geolocation feature so a vendor doesn’t have to move around farther from their selling location. and there will be order confirmation from buyers to know the readiness before buyers can actually see the seller.
Also, during the verification process how do you make sure the vendors won’t use the buyers personal information like house address and the likes for sinister gains? This is one of the major things we are working on for this model to work. and we actually will not be sending direct or specific house address/no of buyer to the vendor. Most meeting points address will be nearest landmarks, bus stop, etc, office surrounding, etc. we also have strict verification process for vendors, starting from background check, guarantors, continuous vetting processes, police or crime reports/history, and some other classified methods.
It will also be good if there is a mechanism for helping the customers (buyers and vendors) learn how better to relate on the platform so as to ensure quality interactions. Definitely! there will be unlimited interaction BTW buyers and vendors on the platform. we will have a chat channel for this on the main platform when it is ready. it is a startup, every part of it is not yet fully figured out, we will learn and work along the line of execution.
