After running the Made In Nigeria Tech Podcast for a while, we have realized that there are a lot of product stories that go untold. From startup ideas to wonderful products being made in Nigeria, we don’t know how they were created, and what they can do. With this in mind we reached out to Product Hunt to organize a Product Hunt meetup in Lagos, so we can help shed more light on the products made in Nigeria.
Product Hunt is just as excited as we are, and they are sending us a box load of swag. PS: The laptop is not part of the swag lol
The event will be shared live from Product Hunt’s Facebook and Twitter account, and we will be taking over Product Hunt’s SnapChat account for that day. We want to do this, so we can better tell and publicize the untold story of the makers in our growing tech ecosystem.
This is an invitation to a community of some of the smartest internet entrepreneurs, developers and designers in Nigeria. The event is basically demo, drinks and gist. RSVP on the Meetup page
After the event, startups or makers that demoed their product will be helped by the Product Hunt team through us, to launch their products on Product Hunt. They will also be added to a product collection for Nigeria, and this collection will be featured on Product Hunt.
If you are a maker, and would like to demo and get on the Product Hunt train, please fill in your product details as you RSVP on the Meetup page. After registering, you will be contacted to send in your presentation demo. We will use your demo to vet who gets to present on that day.
