Thanks @collizo4sky…good points although of course has noted by others as well, partnership will definitely make your platform more appealingly. In all, great effort.
We will look into the partnership ish and see how things shake out.
Thanks for chiming in your 2cent
@nosa, I already run a profitable affiliate program with jumia. Using this plugin for blog monetization can amount to duplicate post and don’t you think Google will penalize onenfor that. From my research on success secrets of affiliate marketing, search traffic tends to be d best converting source. What are you guys doing to resolve issue of duplicate content?
If I use this plugin on a blog with contents will it override the previous posts? And lastly, what seo plugin can we use to drive traffic with this plugin?
Hi, the plugin doesn’t import products that already exist in the database thus preventing duplication.
@ collizo4sky told you this is going to be great. Didn’t I?
This is just the beginning. Keep the good work going
Hi guys, love your approach to e-commerce.
I’d suggest you get a 3rd partner to handle the business side of things so you guys can concentrate on the product. Your product is a big deal.
I also recommend “The Facebook Effect” by David Kirkpatrick from Audible.com (listen and learn a perfect scaling example for you product). #thankmelater
Lastly, I think you guys should pause on the expansion after Konga.com integration and work on developing the product, strengthen ties with Jumia & Konga.
There’s something polyvore.com does that would work for you.
[Scenario]
A fashion blogger posting styles, dresses and combinations should be able to pick a dress, shoe & earrings from Jumia or Konga or both to display (live) in their post instead of just a photo; their affiliate link is also attached.
I’d be happy to explain further if this sounds interesting to your team.
Sure, do explain further.
Want to do it private, shoot me or @Nosa a mail via me@w3guy.com and nosa@profilepress.net respectively.
Thanks.
The plugin integrate seamlessly with WordPress SEO by Yoast and SEO ultimate. More SEO plugin support will be added as time goes on.
If electricity and internet is not a problem, then I advise you stay put in Benin. Your business can run from anywhere. You really don’t have to be in Lagos to connect with the guys in Lagos
People have started asking for millions of things. @collizo4sky and @Nosa you need to decide what’s important to your team so you don’t get drawn into an endless battle of requests from users.
Don’t forget that you came here for early adopters - get some, test and take it up from there. This is a lovely product
Nice! This is awesome guys @collizo4sky and @Nosa. Hopefully, you get the early adopters you need from Radar.
I have a question regarding Affiliate tracking though. Did you guys create the tracking software yourself or do you use platforms such as hasoffers.com?
It’s proving quite difficult to find a cheap, reliable affiliate tracking software so any insights will be good. Reasonably priced is the key factor here as I am not a coder (learning to) but I design (if you need anything design wise), so any thoughts on that will be helpful.
Regardless, good work!
We are using a premium WordPress plugin called AffiliateWP for the affiliate system.
THe plugin doesn’t include an affiliate dashboard where they can enter their bank details thus we built an addon plugin to achieve it available freely on GitHub https://github.com/affiliateshop/affwp-bank-info
My co-founder @Nosa is actually a designer (Lead designer).
If you want to join our small remote team, feel free to shoot us a mail (see email above).
Hello @Jimi
Lagos is where everything happens… I sincerely hope that changes someday. Everything doesn’t get birthed in Silcon Valley in the west. There is potentials for everyone, but all attention and focus in Nigeria starts and end in Lagos.
It’s a very big challenge working from Benin, it would have been nice to stay put over here, but for some other factors we can’t discuss publicly, we will have to move to Lagos sometime in future. ![]()
Well done @Nosa and @collizo4sky. I’m gonna order for unlimited license shortly
Oh my Goodness. Thanks for the order.
Be sure to let us know if you have any question
Sure bro, I see you!
The Coupon Code does not affect the Checkout Value. Please correct this. I sent you guys a mail.
Currently working on fixing this asap.
