I understand suits, because those are supposed to have utility…armour, offensive capabilities, maybe even flight. But costumes, which are well, costumes? Why does a super hero need special clothes (specifically, body-hugging spandex) that make them stick out just because?
Everybody needs to identify you easily in times of distress or when you’re just fighting your other superhero.
Jessica Jones doesn’t have a spandex costume btw.
How will you see the abs and ass without spandex? ![]()
I’d definitely have one. Super power: Telekinesis. Costume: See below.
Is that the one where you can move things with your mind or read other people’s mind ? #AgentsOfSHIELD
Jessica jones is far from a super hero based on the series not the comic
Professor X doesn’t really do costume, I wouldn’t either. That makes you too obvious.
Yep. Moving objects with the mind.
I know this is far from being a super hero but i’d rather be this guy and just cause everybody pain and suffering because without chaos and commotion people will take the freedom and peace they have for granted. So i will be the villian to remind them about chaos once in a while
Why ?
-
Super hero sacrifice too much and they never get recognition an example is the Justice League, remember when everyone attacked them, another example is Spiderman and Batman, mostly Batman his hate/love relationship with the police and Gotham is common.
-
Another reason is too much responsibility, and moral justice, no matter how much joker kills people Batman would never kill him, or even Superman or Spiderman. And this is the reason villains get away with everything because they don’t have moral compass.
-
You can’t have loved ones as they will be targeted e.g Spiderman Carnage and one of peter’s babe, Batman when Joker killed robin , or in another episode when robin was drugged with Laughing gas.
-
You can’t mix being a Super hero with a job, unless you have serious cash (Batman) or a King (Aquaman) e.g am sure Superman’s KPI have to be bad especially having to save people while covering a news, infact i think Superman in his office comes off as a “faffer”, think of any super hero with a full time job, it’s almost impossible.
End of Post, before they suspect am faffing
Plus you have way more fun being evil. Being good is overrated and boring.
Exactly look at Darth Vader built a whole death star to take care of a planet causing him trouble, now that’s ambitious and thinking big.
I know. It’s a question from the mid-season finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, it was followed by some other funny convo afterwards, thought you were a fan of the show.
Nope. I don’t watch the show. Barely watch any TV.
same here but put it on your phone, i spend like 3 hours in traffic so i use that to catch up with some series, everyone working in lagos esp on the island is prob too busy for TV

But in all black
Erm…Jessica Jones is a retired superhero called, Jewel. But then we get the point of her not donning a costume.
With great power comes an amazing bod. And how better to strut your stuff than by wearing sweet spandex outfits?
On a serious note, in this country where you can be stoned to death on a bad day because you dyed half your hair pink, might be basic Darwinian instinct to just keep those tights eternally in the closet.
My ideal costume will be an agbada so I can move from skyscraper to skyscraper in Marina like flappy bird.
No i wouldn’t, would love to be like Heroes, Normals but Heroes without no costumes, Costumes just makes superheroes celebrities.
hahahaha. that will be the day. an agbada wearing superhero. who wants to wear spandex in this unbearable lagos heat anyway?
