You’re actually talking about an AI… And it will require a lot of efforts and advanced AI programming… E.g Zuckerberg’s Jarvis
Since you mentioned Airtime/Data does not count.
- Job notifications @#100 per month
- International Academic scholarships/ Funds/Grants notifications for entrepreneurs
- Cleaning/laundry services @#100 month sounds ridiculously cheap
- Grass-cutting/Flower trimming for all those ajebo houses.
- Monthly subscription for home/offices pest/insect control.
etc
This is witchcraft. Witchcraft of the first order!
lolz: how so?
A good number of people will appreciate this.
Seguleh,
I spent a lot of time considering the CRBT and MVAS business models. The main investment is the NCC VAS licence (2,000,000) and screening process, then getting a network to work with and setting up an interface where you track the volume of messages and reconcile with the networks.
Revenue sharing is so skewed because in several ways it is a racket. You get people into a subscription without their consent and then bill them monthly. I strongly believe that if you aren’t connected in NCC or the networks, getting a VAS licence would be a ‘long thing’
The networks allow the VAS provider take the bad press and ire of the consumers but they provide the phone numbers, infrastructure and take the bigger cut.
The VAS companies stay quiet and anonymous because they really don’t provide ‘value’ to phone users. But it is becoming increasingly easier and easier to opt out and getting on the Do Not Disturb (DND) numbers. However, In a society with high illiteracy rates, most people aren’t aware they are being charged or when they do, they don’t know how to opt out.
It’s an interesting business model but something about me feels people should create value first and reap a profit.
