I Need a website

Yh. Not criticizing your website bro. Infact my comment was in support of your site’s UI.

Keep up your good work!

I know. I was just guiding critics (not you) on where to start their research.

Nobody is criticizing the fact that you didn’t put any graphics or it’s not graphic intensive. You built the site 5years ago Good!.

But since then so many things have changed. OEM’s have come up with different devices with different screen resolution and sizes. so your website doesn’t exactly scale for the present day day to day use case.

What @efemoney was trying to say is that your website has a terrible UX. In this age and time you would have to take care of your website responsiveness and cater for user for different screen sizes.
I could barely see the login text box when I toggle on the responsive mode on my chrome browser.

Most of your visitors would be mobile users and once they’re not impressed they might not want to proceed to using the said well implemented functionality that your website offers.

Screen shot please! I don’t think what you said is true. The site auto-scales to mobile devices.

Here is yours @bosaonline

Here is a perfect example of how it can be

This is about an SMS site? Ok and what does sold industrially even mean in this context? You people just crack me up.

Being sold industrially means, we develop other software and services and simply just integrate SMS messaging.

Lol…I thought you said you could not see the login button. Where did it appear from?

YOUR WEBSITE

First question: Can you login with Facebook/Google to Hirefreehands? Answer is NO
Second question: Can you simply share the page to Facebook even on Mobile? Answer is NO
Third question: Except on Hirefreehands, do I have options where I can reach people to ask questions? Answer is NO

MY WEBSITE

First question: Can you login with Facebook/Google to Hirefreehands? Answer is YES (well optimized login for Facebook mobile)
Second question: Can you simply share the page to Facebook even on Mobile? Answer is YES (well optimized sharing for Facebook with the up to date 2018 API)
Third question: Except on Mobi2SMS, do I have options where I can reach people to ask questions? Answer is YES (Live chat is online now and won’t interrupt your browsing, that’s well optimized as well)

Sometimes less is nothing at all. Hirefreehands! (who can I ask how much it costs before I signup?)

…and besides, someone had to click Login just to prove a point for us. Why can’t they just login right away. Is the home page not optimized as well???

Lool easy on that tone. I could sense you are taking it really personal so I would respond only once.

This isn’t my website, I just happen to have worked for the company that is currently designing the website

Lool!.. so this makes your website cool? so just copying and pasting code from facebook apk/google makes your site different?. Alright!.
If you had used the facebook/google apk to build a custom login it would have been worth but this? No!

This is also a built in copy and paste feature from facebook apk. nothing serious

Are you trying to take credit for what was done by tawk.to?

And lastly Hirefreehands is trying to solve a different problem. If you want to play around and login to the website. You would see that your said social login is actually implemented as a verification to be logged in through linkedIn

This isn’t a personal criticism. It’s just a suggestion of ways you can make your work better.
It’s not really important that you heed to it. No need taking it to the extreme

As far as I am concerned, all the development of the website was based on deep methodologies you haven’t taken time to consider before encouraging criticism. It’s never just copy and paste from these services, a whole lot more was done.

I am not taking credit for any of those services including tawk.to. All I am saying is that, I obey the rules and invent mine.

For you, my point is this:

Using a web browser to test window scaling options and sending screenshots of a wider computer screen is so much of criticism that is unfair. When criticising, use a mobile screen, you would see your login box.

Lastly, why didn’t I add LinkedIn? Simple, we have no business with profile mechanics. Just name and email would do and Facebook and Google is our preferred.

It’s not by how good you look that matters, it’s how good you are, not by what you say or show but what you actually do.

asinnn im shocked… 30 what… the brief is gonna include other things… auth etc

Bulk sms programmers can feel like bad guys… Just saying :smirk:

Take a look at this @Chukwuka_Steve

http://aprior-ng.com/pdf/

Is this what you want?

I thought he wanted a tool for “reading” PDF. Your website downloads it.

Well until he responds we’ll never know

Okay, in the meantime. Maybe you can get your hands dirty a little bit. Here is a link to an Embed library you can use: http://www.randelshofer.ch/embedpdf/

Try implementing that. Whether he chooses you or not, your implementation to that extent would one day be somewhat useful.

Good luck!

Hey @Chris, a quick observation here:

Did you notice that he also mentioned read files apart from download?

Noted. Will look at that library. But if u can download can’t u read? Besides it doesn’t download on Chrome, it opens for reading.

Like I said. Till @Chukwuka_Steve sees it and makes his observations. I didn’t even use a DB. So chill.

It’s just a Proof of concept
