@efemoney , one thing people fail to get is the concept of a fucking MVP. Gawd! Am not taking over the world just yet. Am just testing the proposition to know if it sells… Goodluck integrating payment gateways on a simple MVP. And competitors? seriously???

To me any “internet service” that makes me get up from my couch and go to a nigerian bank to pay for it falls under “Crappy Products nobody wants to use”.
I once chose a bulk sms solution over all others because it integrated Webpay!..and they didn’t call themselves a startup -__-. The question is what is considered viable as regards build.com.ng.
Now, I’m not well versed with the complexities of integrating a payment gateway with your service and I’m sorry I was ambiguous in the last comment. I only meant to state that as a user I would expect to be able to conveniently use your service and personally, going to the bank is a huge inconvenience. I’m sure adding this feature is in your Road map somewhere.
Also it didn’t occur to me earlier but with mobile/online banking these days, this problem is mitigated a little.

Thanks @efemoney .Sorry about the rant of yesterday. Was feeling a little “not too great”. So as regards payment, if you read well, that was optional. People can choose to transact out of the platform so it is not forced. Also, as regards payment gateway, I guess you are a unique breed as the vast majority of Nigerians still go to the bank to pay for online services. Heck! i even sweated it out to pay for my nairaland ads. Integrating payment will be cool but kinda expensive and i don’t know if anybody will even use it. That will be putting the cart before the horse, my friend. Thanks once again for your brilliant appraisal.
