@Emeka Wordpress has an extensive support forum in place at Localhost Installs | WordPress.org specifically for this topic; You are much more likely to have a audience there - give it a try.

In any case, as @SashaWinston said a simple google search will provide all the results you need. I was curious and found some answers for you:

Install WAMP or LAMP or MAMP or XXAMP, download wordpress, extract to the www folder on WAMP or LAMP or MAMP or XXAMP, create a database on phpMyadmin, access the install script of wordpress most likely on localhost/wordpress then follow the on screen instructions. :wink:
