I need a web developer to help setup a web platform - Database (e.g www.nawhere.ng ), forum (e.g Nairaland’s simplicity and responsiveness on feature phones) and blog.
The Developer is at liberty to choose the platform to built on, but should be ready to put me through via a crash course as per back-end concern and help with web-mastering (Terms will be agreed upon)
Domain name is ready.
Finally, my budget…please don’t laugh.
I paid a guy on Fiverr an equivalent of N55,000 in dollars for this project, but he stopped communicating with me and went on “Vacation”. I had paid him via paypal (because he offered 6 months free hosting + graphic design), so I filed a dispute and won. Simply put, my budget is N55,000.
I am a novice, but play with blogger templates a lot. So…help!

My recommendation,
Make the necessary subdomains and then do the following.
Set up blog with WordPress
Set up forum with bbpress (or discourse)
Set up Database with…none off the top of my head but there should be a CMS for that.
You’d probably want user accounts to be shared so you could do all with WordPress.
How?
Add the bbpress plugin. It’s by the same guys that created WordPress so there is tight integration.
Get a well coded plugin to handle the database ish.
If you don’t want it all on the same domain, use WordPress multisite.
You could do all this by yourself. Not a lot of coding required. However, if you need me to do this for you… send me a message.
