Friendsvow: - The Internet Bank Connecting People With Financial Credit one friend at a Time

Hey Guys, make una come and see ooo, BIG name @iaboyeji First of his name, chief developer of tech talent is here he has staked his reputation on this target. I follow you on twitter man, see when you have a name in any field the money is not the important game anymore your reputation is and this offer is public, all the code community is a witness. this means the fuel for rocket launch is almost ready.

Getting this offer from you is like getting LPO from CBN/ NNPC all banks will honor that loan, in Startup terms guys, Friendsvow just got a fair term sheet, with conditions Damn! Radar is cool.

I said I needed 1000 voluntary people to sign up, Scratch that we are going to growth hack that number, and you can verify it anyhow you want, by phone, physically, anyhow

Okay so I have to put this down, @iaboyeji first of his name has committed to do the needful, so guys here is whatsup, this is not a gimmick, this is not a trial and error game plan, this has been my number 1 Startup dream, I have experienced the beauty of this in real time, my mum did this with her business partners, she raised funds with this, achieve lots of important capital projects, my sisters did this with their friends in secondary school while we were young, my colleaques did this when I started working, bought cars, pay for house rent, so this is a way of life in Nigeria/ Africa, I was about 18yrs old when I discover this was what I am going to do, because of the naija way of disturbing you to get a job, I strayed a bit, but I always knew I will build an internet bank with this, I have studied every loophole in the system and we have created a hack to prevent any breakdown of trust.

So this is my offer to any visionary investor/entrepreneur out here who havevthe guts to change an industry, Who will be willing to growth hack this to 1000 people or more in 1month, All we need to do that is 3more engineers/developers, 4 Marketing Sales team, the marketers do not need to fear of target they only need to show up and sign up people, in 30 days we will have 1000 - 10000 people who have signed up, that is my guarantee, not a bluff (I have almost done it before only money they yab man) this is going to change lives, people will not be at the mercy of salary or loans, banks will be issuing comfortable loans for bigger projects, its a win win for the Nigerian people and the economy.

What we need to achieve this is server upgrade, Marketers, Engineers, anyone who would be willing to provide this for us, will have 7% revenue share monthly, including either equity/convertable note, if you can do this with us, just go home and chill, or be with us daily to perfect the system, product is ready, we have a good team not experienced but a team that shares the vision, so we need experienced engineer to lead em.

Any engineer mobile/web who will be willing to join this product hack, we cannot pay your salary we would offer you revenue share monthly, but have no fear @iaboyeji first of his name has spoken all we need is a receiving bank and a recurring payment system and we will conquer.

For me one of the greatest poet in Africa was christopher okigbo I like to inspire with a line from a poem of his.

“Even if the sun refuses to shine,
We shall make it shine.
Clay pots fired in Zeal
They will cool our feet
As we climb”.

Hardwork, persistence
Create a dream.

I am easily a contented person, If I am comfortable with my team and product but I will never, ever turn down intro from people who wants to help or who wants to collaborate, 1000 people is a test, the market is way more than 10 mill people in nigeria alone…

That’s quite the ironically descriptive last name you’ve got there, Iyin.

When I was in school, I wanted to write Jamb I have a very bad math teacher and I needed math bad and I cant solve any maths at all, so I brought out all the past math questions, four 4 days I was doing various combinations on how to pass the objective questions, I discoverd this hack, its not a big deal but I just want you to understand some difficult problems with multiple options in life, always has a hack around it

I will share it here because this is hackers community, and you can try it when you have the time, (this was old jamb format, dont know about now) by choosing 1 letter multiple times, you will get consistent answers in all jamb or objective questions, because the papers are prepared with computers which used sequence to arrange the answers, from question 1-5 if if its A - D choose 4 A’s if its A - E choose choose five A’s play around with it like that, you will start getting out of 50 questions u will get 15-25 if its 100 questions you can get 30-45, if you can stretch neck spy 2 theory Omo you don pass exam be dat, thats was how I got a c I maths

As for the banks we are an enabler if @iaboyeji do a good intro to a visionary bank who understand whats at stake, its a partnership, if CBN wants to be the first country in the world to come after fin tech for doing a legitimate business to grow the economy, support the middle class we will be very glad to leave naija and go do this anywhere in the world and target naija from outside, so who is losing?

Lol to your recruitment policy, they have their bank account already, let them sign up to get a download link, but understand we have seen how people can abuse the system, we know whats whats going to go down and how to pat them in the head and say ‘nice try’ cheers bro

Really? Ha thats awesome

Quick question, are you hoping to hit 1,000 signups before or after you overhaul your UI, UX and copy ?

So this is a gatcha question, the real question is behind right? Ok we can do both, we can wait to hit the 1k and focus on the app or but if you can tell me areas where we can improve that will be nice

@EnZo

Impressive passion for your project and I like the name. However, I think you need to improve your UI/UX. The logo and colour combination is awful. I would choose a product with plenty of whitespace and few UI elements in the right places over one with green background and rainbow coloured icons everywhere.

Stay high/motivated on the value you can provide with this project and your secret algorithm
and not just the subtle validations.

All the best.

It’s actually just a straight question. I used overhaul because I, and I’m sure a lot of people here, think the whole site needs one. Now you may have a good working back-end but whoever handled the UI is from 2001.
Your header image is straight from a get-rich-quick networking banner that ticks people off, the theme color should never be used on any website ever, not even the Nigerian army’s. All your graphics are outdated.
You have a search box, why ?
You have a separate “how it works” page with the same thing on the homepage, why ?
You left your call-to-action button unstyled and with a spelling error.
And why in the multiverse are you on 10 different social networks ? Or why are the icons there ?
You have awkwardly shaped iPads and mock-ups with unaligned screens. There are free sites that would help you create mock-ups, but it wouldn’t help make your screenshot responsive, all you’re doing is shrinking the image.
Is this how you will be shrinking users ajo money ?

If there are 20 people with bank accounts at the table and you don’t know who the maga is, then you are the maga…

No matter the introductions you may have, when you start scaling seriously then you are at the risk of causing serious damage to the economy when you fail because pepole’s life savings will be affected. In fact the banks may even shout that the Government will need to bail you out when you fail. Now why will you want to enjoy the protections of bank when you are not one? If the biggest banks in the world could fight P2P lending, I doubt Nigerian banks will cross their legs and watch you take thier clients.

Look at the big picture, if I have access to capital via a cooperative, why should I be nice to my bank manager?

@EnZo

Forget about Iyin. Forget about growth hack. Forget about everything. Just fix your product. @Yinka said it all. Your site reminds me of 2000.

Fix that, and come back. I mean, now you’ve ascertained you have a great idea. And there are folks willing to help you.

But for the love of life, fix that product.

@EnZo I believe we still have someone in the house who will gladly code for food

We will update those recommendations, I think Naija love white background a lot, anysite that is not having a white background is considered archaic, my team mates are not on radar cos they overide me, sayings its rep money and health, I agree on second thoughts lets follow the people.

We will do a white background, its kinda a fetish with naija, everyweek we plan to change those mockups, these days if you noticed beautiful unaligned mockups is kinda the trend, just do a google search of mockups, you will see a few cool once, I like variations like that.

Thanks for the observations, the Govt is aware now…the needful will be done

Hahaha, is that possible? I saw his profile, that bros is over qualified to code for food, not in Naija, am sure by now he already has a lot of options line up, but it would be great to have guys with startup experience on the team…will find out what can tempt him

Sir, Whitespace is not a Naija thing. It’s a global design best practice.

Hi @EnZo, I was extremely curious about your platform when I heard about it. This is because “Sharphire Global” has been working on something similar for sometime --> http://www.susu.ng.

One thing that struck me is that you are “Challenging” human beings

“to do something negative”

and you’ll pay them 1000 dollars for that (N200,000).

I have only one question for you @EnZo, ARE YOU A NIGERIAN, OR HAVE YOU EVER DEALT WITH NIGERIAN CUSTOMERS ONLINE? If you have, congrats, if not PLEASE DO NOT LAUNCH WITHOUT FUNDING.

Damn. You guys just keep launching projects like kanye west bruh… #thumbsup anyway

I pray it blow up !! - You should start a startup studio and have all these projects under it

Actually it is a global thing, yeah, I just read an article about user experience being more important than the technology, so we going to revert to global best practices within 48 hours.

Thanks

I won’t mind an access code bruv :raising_hand_woman:
