Cool stuff.

Look forward to learning more about your first user experience.

I like this. Awesome!!!

Wish I was in Lagos to try this out :cry::cry:

I checked the website and about half of the FAQs don’t have answers. I don’t know what areas you’ll be serving so I’m not really encouraged to sign up to try out the service.

Hi trying to sign up, but it looks like your sign up button is disabled

Hey Temi,
Our apologies for the inconvenience but we seem to have your gotten your details! We will be in touch shortly!

Nice, this has the potential to be big!

From my past working experience, this solution has a long way to go. The key postulations surrounding this service, will be proved wrong after it’s launched.
Probably doing a seat down with a startup like Gomyway and asking why they have just less than 1% of their 5000 signed up passengers active, will aid you guys.
Verdict : You guys will learn the hard way in 2017,by 2018 : you may be ready to launch.

NB: Feel free to inbox me,if you need “paid” counselling on your service though.

Thank you very much for the feedback. We have now answered all the FAQ’s Please let us know if you have any more questions!

My 2 cents: FOCUS

  1. Identify a highly trafficked route that has many commuters and “own” the space. This could be mainland to V.I to Lekki axis on weekdays. Operate at specific take off times (like a train service) so you can operate at full capacity.

  2. Get your sales team to directly pitch startups or companies in your niche axis. Maybe it would be a good idea to focus on companies in Lekki phase 1 who have staff on the Mainland and partner with them as the official transport partner that their staffs can use.

It would be really nice to give your advice based on your past working experience.

We all want each other to succeed and if they are going down a wrong path, it would be better for you to tell them why they need to stop now, or what they need to do before they are ready to launch.

The reason people bring their products to radar is to seek constructive criticism and if you have experience, help them with that knowledge.

Hello Mauri,

You seem to have specific figures about Gomyway, do you by any chance work with them?

Thanks Afam.
You are speaking on behalf of the thread creator. However,as you can see : he hasn’t responded to my advice. I guess the team is still over the moon on even, being able to pilot their service. Putting it in the right frame, they are still gingered-up.
Two months from now, he will come down to our level and likely pickup his pair of shoes, grab it on both hands and run back to Radar, begging to know how.

Go my what? No I don’t : only have friends in the right places

For God’s sake if you have advice, just say it.
What are you waiting for?

All you have said is that it will fail. That is not advice, that is speculation.
It becomes advice when you back it up with reasons and recommendations.

Of course it’s possible that it will fail. If you do not even try to help, don’t act like some super predictor if it does fail because any one could have said that.

Don’t wait for people to beg for advice before you give it. If they don’t learn, someone else will.

It’s funny how you belittle other people’s businesses without explaining what is wrong.

You keep playing the eternal pessimist. It’s good. My brother does that for my ideas when my head is in the clouds. But this is NOT helping!!!

If go my way’s business model is flawed, explain so others learn.
If something will not work, explain.
Since nothing is certain, mere speculation has no value
