Even with auto-play disabled, FB still streams videos in the background, here’s a screenshot showing videos that were being streamed as I scrolled through my news feed. I have reported this issue twice, still waiting for their response though.
I’m glad to have Glo mobile data so cheap as I don’t have to worry about things like this.
What is cheap about 4.5GB for #2500? Are you a Glo representative? side eye
Imagine scrolling through your news feed on Desktop with say, 10 videos, you’ll be using up over 20MB of data for videos you probably didn’t watch. Given FB’s endless scroll, you’ll probably have more than 10 videos in your feed depending on your friends. That’s data you paid for.
